Transcript
Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
He will bless you
Make your name great
You will be a blessing
I will bless those who bless you and course those who curse you
Everyone shall be blessed because of you.
And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissiv to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.
And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.
Bless you - He couldn’t understand the vastness of Gods blessing upon him.
Barren wife give birth to the son that would give birth to the Father of the 12 tribes of Israel (Isaac, Jacob, 12 tribes)
Nations would be born through him.
Make your name great
God, not Abraham, would make his name great
Proverbs 22:1 “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold.”
Our reputation precedes us. What does it say before we arrive?
We are to make His name famous. Acts 1:8

Must be blessed too be a blessing
Blessed (happy, lto be envied, and mspiritually prosperous—nwith life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!
God will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.
Nations would be born through Him.
