Alright- it's everyone's favorite day of the year..
Assumption day.
This is the day where I assume you are coming back for next year unless you tell me otherwise.🙂
All jokes aside...
Believe it or not we are down to 8 weeks left in our study of Revelation- 9 if you include sharing day!
Next year is a new study to BSF...People of the Promise: Exile and Return...and with a new study we are expecting another year of women and children longing to come and study God's word with us...
Which means...we need leaders...we need you...
The Call to BSF leadership is an honor and a privilege...a place where God chooses to use you to grow his kingdom while he also transforms you personally in the process.
I recognize that for some of you this role combined with hard life situations has pushed you to your max and letting go of serving God in this way might seem like the sensible decision.
And yet the call to lead in the cause of Christ is a call to trust God’s inexhaustible resources and glorify Him as you do what you could not do on your own.
I want you take a moment to reflect on your time in leadership. Write down quickly just a few ways that you have seen God sustain you and transform you through your BSF leadership...
(Pause- take just a moment to reflect)
As you have reflected on how he has enabled you to accomplish everything He has called you to do….
Do you trust that He will do that again and again?Â
When God calls you out, I believe it will be as clear as when He called you in. I would say…Until then, trust God & carry on!
However, BSF leadership is a season of preparation for a lifetime of ministry…so if you are discerning that the Lord is possibly moving your place of service for next year outside of BSF, please let me know by March 11th. This is a conversation you and I have together.
Remember....
• God brought you to this work.
• God sustains you in this work.
• God perfects you through this work.
1 Corinthians 15:58 says: Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Sisters, your prayers, your service here in BSF, in your church, at home….your labor for the Lord is not in vain. Not only do I see you, but our Sovereign Father sees you.
and I am so thankful that I get to serve alongside you.

PRAYER VCA:
Every week we have been sending out a prayer list with different ways to pray for our class.
In the coming weeks, we are going to start to move away from a long list of prayer requests, and instead allow you to pray for those areas as the spirit leads.
There may be times where we give you some specific requests, but overall we want you to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and pray as he leads in your small groups during our supplication time. .I will continue to lead us through the different parts of BSF and when we get there, pray as the spirit leads in small groups.
The format isn’t changing- we will continue to follow the same pattern of Adoration, Thanksgiving and Supplication…and we will always pray on our knees.
So let’s pray now…
