PRODUCE GOOD FRUIT

Look at a tree, if the tree is well noursh, what kind of fruti will it produce ? But if the tree is getting dry, the leaves are not very green what kind of fruti will it produce ? so what kind of tree do you want to be ? Today is about producing good fruit.

Gospel   Luke 6:39–45

39 He also told them a parable: “Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but every one when he is fully taught will be like his teacher. 41 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 42 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.

Jesus ask, can a blind man lead a blind man ? of course it is not possible. if a blind mand leads another blind man what will happen ? a frined once told me about what happened in Oshodi one day - an okada man caried a passenger and another okada aslo carried a passenger and both were coming from different directions and there was trafic. am talking of old Oshodi not Oshodi of today. in order to avoid trafiic. one went towards the right and the second went towards the left. both jammed themselevs and the four of them fell into the dirty gutter. what happened ? impatience

Secondly Jesus says a disciple cannot be above his teacher. as an oga you are ta teacher and your boy is a diciple. your biy cannot claim to know more than you. if he knows myou, he will not be under you. so if you called yourself and an apprencice and you calim you know more than your Oga then you are a fol and a fool learns nothing at the end of the day. Jesus says if you listen you will be like your Oga if not better.

thirdly : Y essenceou see there are some people that believes they know it all. even more than the ChrucH. The Church has been in existnce for 2000 years and you think you know more than the Chruch just because in a dream you carried a bible or peopel hgathered to gether and you preach to them then God is calling you to be an evangelist or Pastor. Case of Vitus Okuka.

in essece, look inwrds before you accuse others because you may be worse than that individual.

43 ¶“For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit; 44 for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thorns, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. 45 ¶ The good man out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil man out of his evil treasure produces evil; for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks
