How many have felt like giving up?
how many have felt like they try so hard to do what and keept get pushed back ?
How many stuggled with the feeling of not measuring up or being Good enough ?
I have delt this this feeling for year.
12 years of ministry
3 churches
2 marrage
5 differnt jobs
and still struggling with not getting good enough
It is a normal feeling to face..… and now I am ready to give in..
I am Giving up!
Now before you celebrate or freakout let me tell you what I am givning up.
I am giving up on trying to fix issues that are too much for me
I am giving up worrying about things that haven't came
I am giving up on stressing what could happen in the future when things get rough
I am giving up on trying to do it my self, and giving it all over to God.
My prayer for the past few weeks is simply this, God help me to surrender to you.
As I am praying this Life has gone from one mess to another. and stilll God help me surrender
Temptiaions statred to creap in, and still God help me surrender
What am i surrending to. IT is Gods Church, it is Gods ministry, It is Gods life through me. So Let God Lead it.
Heres what I know from Gods word
No matter what I am trying to do Gods Plan will always Stand.
Proverbs 19:21 (ESV): 21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man,
but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
For anything to work, It has to be held in His Hands
Job 12:10 (ESV):
10 In his hand is the life of every living thing
and the breath of all mankind.
Be Genuine in love, and constant in Prayer.
Romans 12:9–21 (ESV):
9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. 10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Know that where ever God leads me, what ever God calls me to do, It is not in vain
1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV): 58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
Try to Do Right, and Then Let God Handle what you Can Not.
Matthew 18:15–17 (ESV):15 “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. 17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
Always Try to help thous around you, but dont let it hurt your Walk with God.
Galatians 6:1 (ESV) Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.
When people around you, causeing division, try to help fix the situations, If they listen great, if not Move On.
Titus 3:10–11 (ESV):10 As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.
I HAVE TO GIVE IT UP TO GOd SO He CAN FIX IT
