Lessons from Joseph’s Enslavement

In the midst of difficult circumstances, remember that God is with you.
Matthew 28:18–20 “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””
John 16:7 “Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.”
Be faithful, wherever you are.
Be a person of integrity.
Be faithful in your duties.
Sometimes we negate the favor God has given us with people through a lack of integrity or laziness.
Avoid sin.
Sometimes you stand strong against sin.
Sometimes you flee from sin.
God sometimes moves us to new and more difficult challenges in order to develop us.
