SALTY LIGHTS Matthew 5:13-16 KJV 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. To begin with brothers and sisters, Christian Friends, Well Wishers and Saints of God I want to talk about Salty Lights.Because Salt Stings! and Light Exposes Sin. And Sinners show their hatred by avoiding us or rejecting the subject matter all together. When you hear folk say to you Ah here you go with all that religious Jesus mumbo jumbo stuff. That’s when you know that the salt stings and the light exposes their sins. And can I let you in on a little secret.

So let’s dig in to the nuts and bolts of part of Jesus’ message called the similitude.In Matthew 5: 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

1. You are the Salt of the Earth....The word You is personal possessive pronoun. Meaning the text is not teach, talking or telling us about them.

2. Next the text teaches us that you are the Salt of the Earth. And what exactly does that mean? I’ve been hearing you are the salt of the earth from all the old people all my life but what does it actually mean? It means that first of all Salt is a powerful mineral that used for seasoning food, cleansing wounds, healing our hurts, and preserving foods for future uses. Secondly Salt on the spiritual level is a highly respected idiom, salt is a Highly regarded buzz word, and a highly coveted commodity for using spiritual acronims .Here’s what I’m talking about “Just like children today say that’s dope brah”.. It means it’s a good thing. Same way with salt. Salt means it’s a good thing . Salt is dope brah.

That’s just how you are. I was there like a jet in the vet through the whole process with sis Joycelyn Williams. I loved her and will miss her dearly.

So while you think that you’re reading the Bible… The Bible is reading you.. Yeah 3x but then God will respect their choices and all of the good that they use to do will be forgotten in the judgement and they will suffer like an unbeliever and bust hell wide open. Then the text 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. And so Jesus describes the person’s life first as salt but now Jesus describes the person’s life as light. Therefore that’s how I came up with the name Salty Light. I’m Salty because I’m still good for something..

I’m going to put to to us like this “What does it matter if you’re a genius but you work at Big Lots and they’re going out of business. You ought to be working for Pennington biomedical research laboratories or somewhere like that.Or some lawyer or doctor or engineer or virtuoso Musician composing a great musical score or computer specialist with A.I. or something… If you have a gift you ought to be able to share that gift with the world, especially the Body of Christ.

The text is saying that when you share the gift that God gave you it brightens up the whole house. Listen everybody ain’t able to do everything. And so God gives the House, His House, The Church House all of the essential gifts that it needs to be able to thrive and not just survive. Your church may never have millionaires and billionaires and high pollutant influential people in it, But that church will have just what it needs to be what Good wants it to be. So don’t hide your gifts use your gifts to the glory of God.

Dr. Isaac Greggs when he found out that I was going to be a preacher said to me Allen just remember that no man is an island we’re all a part of the mainland. And that means it’s easy to be a christian all by yourself but the real test comes when we have to interact with people.

Long story short is that the only reason that God bragged on Job was because the bible says that Job was an upright man one who eschewed evil. In other words Jesus knew that Job’s light shined before men and everybody could see Job’s good works.

Practically speaking and I’m moving on, quick question have you ever seen a US President Kick another President clean out of the White House at any point in US History? We are witnessing a dark period in our nation’s history and so more than ever now Christian Hear-ted People better let their let Shine before men Because I’m certain that Jesus is coming back soon.. Jesus must be coming back with all this craziness going on now.

They said hah haha ain’t nobody going to that church on Wednesday night but you. And the old woman didn’t never mind she just walked on to church singing glory glory hallelujah since I laid my burdens down. And one Wednesday Night these low life athiest decided that they were going to beat up and abuse this old Christian lady. They said as soon as she come out of that church we’ll get her. But to their surprise Oh Lordy Just when they came out of the bushes to grab her. THREE BIG ANGELS CAME OUT OF NOWHERE. The low life men were so afraid until they took off running. And when the old lady turned around the THREE BIG ANGELS DISAPPEARED AND SAID THE HEAVENLY FATHER SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS AND HOW YOU GLORIFY HIM EVERYWHERE YOU GO.
