Matthews 18:1-6

Who Is the Greatest?

18 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3 and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, 6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.

In the passage Jesus says that in order for you to be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven you have to be as humble as a child. While reading this scripture it made me reflect on myself and my actions. Am I humble? Do I have good character traits? Am I mean for sport? All of these questions made me wonder if I’m as humble as my twin grandchildren. Niomi even though she can be full of sass shes pure at heart. She would comfort you if you cry, she would feed you if you were hungry and if your sick she would play doctor to help you get better. Rj on the other hand would just keep your company and make sure you weren't alone. He’s the one who would find a way to fix whatever is broken while reassuring you that Rj is here to save the day. They don’t want anything in return except for a hug and to know that your better. Do you do things from the heart without expecting anything in return? Are you the greatest in the kingdom?
I remember the song Jesus loves the little children all the children of the world he never separated the love, faith or trust that he have for you what he wanted to to know that you are to respect and do the right thing toward others. a Humble Child Taste the Grace. You will come across people who will do you wrong or maybe don’t like you for what ever and that all right kill them with kindness and keep moving stay in the game you will only lose if you give up and not trust the process . In Matthew 18 Jesus called a little child forward to stand besides him just like the Father did to him Jesus will always have your back Maddison trust and belive . A Humble Child Taste the Grace. Amen
Maddison the reason Jesus want us to become like little children because children still have a sense of awe and wonder that has not been corrupted by this evil world they dream big and have big imagination and they are very trust worthy. This is who Jesus have created in you he wants you to always respect your parents and all adults in and out of your mothers sight. Remember A humble Child Taste the Grace
I Jeremiah the word said Before I formed you in the womb I knew you that tells us that he made no mistake in Psalm it said children are a heritage from the Lord be proud be very proud of who Jesus created. Amen
Mrs. Tia , all that is true . what about christian leaders who walk around talking about one another, what about christian leader who stop speaking to you if you don’t walk the way they want you too. I have sat in church and heard them speak about the man of God and the position they are holding in the church, is this the way Jesus want for children like me. A Humble child Taste the Grace. As adults they should leader to christ and not pleasing to Satin. we look up to the mothers and fathers the church. In Ephesians it said father, do not provoke your children to anger, we learn from example. Adults warn us about the company we keep what about the company they are in, keep Gods company so we all can walk in the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen I remember my grandmother listen to Marvin Winnans Draw me Close to you , and he would sing no one else can take your place bring me back to you. A Humble child Taste the Grace. Amen
