The best first place to look for something lost is where you last remember having it; this usually means retracing your steps and checking the most likely spots based on your routine, like pockets, common surfaces, or your usual "landing spot" for that item in your home or wherever you were last using it. Key points to remember:
Think about your actions:Try to recall what you were doing when you last had the item and where you might have put it down.
Check common areas:Look in places you frequently use or where you usually put similar items, like pockets, counter-tops, or the entryway table.
Investigate seating areas:Between couch cushions, under chairs, and on tables are prime spots for lost items.
Consider the item's size and shape:If it's small, check tight spaces and crevices.
Change your perspective:Look from different angles and heights to spot something you might have missed.
Where you lose things determines where you find them
outside (in the wilderness)
inside (the house)
2. Finding things outside requires sacrifice
a. you have to go after the one (lost) out of your comfort zone
b. you have to leave the ninety-nine (faithful) They may feel neglected
3. Finding things inside requires change
a. you have to turn the light on (to see) can’t find anything in the dark
b. you have to clean things up (dirty) amazed at what you find when sweep; amazed at how clean things become when you get the dirt out
