Phil 1:27-2:18.
Paul’s dilemma- to desire to live or die (dislocated heart)
for him its a win/win situation
Paul decides to desire to live and bless others
Paul’s assurance (v 25)- we will rejoice together in this life and the next
Paul’s admonition (v 27)
I want you to walk worthy of (in keeping with) the Gospel of Jesus
lives of humility, meekness, sanctification, Godliness
standing firm
one spirit, one mind
striving with (not against) one another
UN-AFRAID

What Kind of Witness?

Cowardly Christian (v 27-28)
Cultural Christian
Congenial Christian (peace keeper vs peace maker)
OR a witness like Jesus

Our lives will exemplify:
encouragement
comfort from agape
participation in the Spirit
affection/sympathy
be of the same mind (purpose/will)
humility vs ambition/conceit
