Key verse

13 Porque tú formaste mis entrañas;

Tú me hiciste en el vientre de mi madre.

14 Te alabaré; porque formidables, maravillosas son tus obras;

Estoy maravillado,

Introduction

God’s design us: We were made by God. That natural and physiological development in our mom’s belly was made by God. קנה (create; cf. Dt 32:6)and סכך (weave together; cf. Job 10:11) have this idea of a creation done by God. God made our flesh and bones, weaving us; also, God intervenes to put life in this biological process. God’s is literally our Creator because he puts life in us.
God’s foreknowledge: The fact that the Psalmist argues that God has a book where all the things were written since the day they were formed without anything missing. This means that God designs a previous plan for everyone not contradicting the fact that god doesn’t predetermines someones future. This is God making a purpose for every human, his ideal growth for us.
Human gratitude: v. 14. An important part of being God’s creature is gratitude. We have to be very grateful for make us living. All of his deeds, general and in our lives are “marvelous” and “formidable”.
