The Grace of God

Grace of God is God himself. Identical.

Independant. Of what. demerit or merit. Isn’t that a wonderful first thought. If it dfepends on me4rit its not grace. If it isn’t free of demerit, he couldn’t bestow it. It is actually wonderfully opposed to both.

Austin grace is not grace unless it is altogether free.

by which God is conceived as willing to communicate himself to the creature from gratuitous love without any merit in the creature and notwithstanding its demerit.

Romans 11:6 “But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.”

Ephesians 2:8–9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

Ephesians 1:6 “to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.”

Romans 3:24 “being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;”

2 Timothy 1:9 “who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,”

The grace of God is most abundantly displayed in Christ.

John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

2 Corinthians 13:14 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.”

the grace of God abounds towards us. 2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;”

Gods grace produces. Romans 5:3 “And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;”
