Whats up CrossRoads! I want to thank you all for coming out tonight to our CrossRoads kick off event! This is just the start to this awesome journey and you all are the absolute first to experience this! I want to personally thank you all for coming out tonight, I hope you have had fun but before we leave tonight I want to talk to you about the MAIN reason that we are here. The main reason why we spent hours getting this event set up for you all. That reason is Jesus! Before we get into the lesson tonight lets pray .

Testimony

Who in here knows what a Testimony is?

A Testimony is a story that you have about when God did something for you in your life. Most commonly we associate our testimony with the time we accepted The Lord as our savior. I want to share with you a story of a woman who Jesus came across, who according to the standers of that day Jesus was not supposed to be speaking with her. She was a Samaritan and he is a Jew. Jews considered the Samaritans to be unclean and religious hybrids! On top of that,  rabbinical teachings of the time discouraged men from speaking with women in public, especially those of different ethnic groups. Jesus wanted to show that his love goes beyond standards set by men.
