KJV Bible:
18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19

Intro: Why Should We Spread The Gospel

Where do you want to go after death?
*(Hopefully Heaven)*
In Heaven there is only peace
In Heaven there is only Joy
In Heaven there is only Rest
In Heaven there are only good things
We want Heaven and God’s blessings for ourselves, but what about for other people
God constantly shows that the people who put others before themselves are the ones who are put first in line for blessings
Matthew 20:16 says “So those who are last now will be first then, and those who are first will be last.”
We must also remember that our calling and purpose in life stems from serving and helping others
Athletes and Coaches perform for the fans and their respective teams.
Preachers preach to help people get closer to God
Doctors heal patients to make them feel better
All occupations or jobs are revolved around serving others
We serve to help
Heaven is great thing and we must not be selfish and tell people about it.
God has done many things for us and we want to tell others
So God calls us all to tell people the Gospel

The Gospels & What it is

In order to perform the play that is called in the huddle, we must know the play
In order for a teacher to teach, they must know the subject
In order for us to spread the Gospel, we must know the Gospel
The Gospel, aka the Good News is the life of Jesus
God saw that we couldn’t overcome sin, so he formed a plan to overcome it.
He brought Jesus into the world through the virgin Mary and he was raised as a holy child
He invested most of his time in temples learning and preaching
Jesus would prepare for his ministry through the first 30 years of his life.
But when it was time, he gathered his 12 disciples and they left and set out to save the world
He performed many miracles, healings, prophesied greater than any prophet, and had great teachings that still influences the world and even some religions (they use some of his teachings, but twist it and use it wrongly, therefore it is dangerous)
Many couldn’t comprehend that Jesus was God
Many grew hatred and jealousy towards him because he would do the impossible and make them look stupid
He challenged their way of life which they forced to seem true to themselves
Jesus was despised by many unbelievers due to them not being used to the truth.
So they imprisoned him and chose to set a serial killer free over him
They beat and bruised him so bad that he was unrecognizable
He died on the cross and rose 3 days later back to life, to show that we are now free and that sin is overcomable through him.
This is the Gospel and we must remember it not only for Spreading, but also for ourselves.

Forms of Spreading the Gospel

You now know what the Gospel is, but how do we do it
My main ways are word of mouth, prayer, social media, & leading by example
The most common one is word of mouth
This is you just going up to a person whether you know them or not and telling them about what you know about God
When taking this approach, be prepared for questions, refusal, and many other things
If you don’t know too much about God, then ask for prayer
Instead of telling them about God, you can ask them if they want prayer
You must praise God, then ask for what you want, thank God, & then praise in this order when praying at all times
The easiest way imo is social media
You can reach the most amount of people, it is easier to spread the Gospel daily, and you don’t have to show your face if you don’t want to.
It is as simple as posting a Bible verse, a testimony, the life of Jesus, and so many other things.
My favorite way that I use to spread the Gospel and it is something that every Christian needs to do, it is leading by example.
You have to prove what you say by what you do
All you have to do is confess your beliefs and stick to it.
We must bear all fruits of the spirit which is love, Joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control
We must encourage others who need it
Be serious when needed
And openly live and praise God
When you live God and openly embody the things of him, people will see it and be amazed and wonder what do you have that makes you that way
Some may wonder what made you change from your old ways
Some just want to hate just because
But the curiosity of someone will lead to them learning the truth, and if their heart is open to it, they will accept it, and boom
You helped someone go to heaven
Realize what comes after death
Heaven is peace forever
Where Hell is eternal torment, when you think the pain lets up, it gets worse, the cycle repeats and never ends.
Know that we have a chance to bring more people into heaven, so we must do it.
