Thank God because He knows. (vs. 1-6)

NOTHING that He didn’t know about Shelly - made her in His image.
NOTHING that He didn’t know about this family - and how He placed her in this home for her good and care.
He knew the challenges. He knew how to equip you for the challenges.
He knew the special moments, the love you would share, the strength he would give you.

Thank God because He is close. (vs. 7-13)

Shelly created in God’s image, loved by God. He was close to lover her and care for her.
God was close to help.
God was close to listen to your cries. Listen to your moments of laughter.
God is close to comfort.

Thank God because He is wonderful. (vs. 14-16)

Everything God does is purposeful.
Everything God does is ultimately good.
Consider the blessings - an opportunity to love, an opportunity to serve selflessly, a life of purpose.
What I feel doesn’t change God’s goodness.

Thank God because He has a plan to deal with sin. (vs. 17-24)

God is good but we feel like we’ve been done wrong, life is unfair, etc.
Life in a broken world because of sin - this world is not right.
Jesus died and rose again to restore what is broken - some day a new creation - Shelly will rise and put on a new body - you will know her in her newness.
