Happiness is circumstance driven while Joy is driven by faith
Various: not just many in number, but many types as well
Joy is synonomous with Courage. Joshua 1:9 ““Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.””
Jesus endures the cross . . . Hebrews 12:2 “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
