Introduction
Each Tribe would fulfill the prophecy over their life, but it was all a shadow of Christ, who was the perfect fulfillment.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
All the old things, of the Old Testament, was only a shadow of the new things to come. Those things happened back there, to give us the—the foreknowledge of what we might expect in this day, if we serve the Lord, and what we might expect if we do not serve the Lord. And if we serve Him half-heartedly, or whole-heartedly. 56-0902 - “The Handwriting On The Wall”
Paul says “these things happened for an example”.
