Background

Joel names in Joel 1:1, most likely during the reign of King Joash, approximately 835 to 796 BC is the 29th book of the old testament and is the 2nd minor prophet. The book consist of 3 chapters and 3 main sections.
The first focuses on the experience current to Joel;s audience when he originally wrote the letter.
The second transitions to spiritual themes beyond the immediate situation Joel 2:1-17.
And the third speaks to God’s restoration

Even Now

Joel 2:12–13 ““Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.”
