Consider One Another

Hebrews 10:24–25 KJV 1900

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

America has gotten into a mess because of selfishness.

WE NEED TO CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER!!

PHYSICAL NEED AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS

“And let us consider one another”

The Greek word for “consider” means to observe fully

WE NEED TO CONSIDER ALL

Be Selfless

The Christian life is meant to be selfless not selfish!

The world tells you to look out for yourself first.

Jesus always went out of his way to help others!

Be An Encourager

One of the best ways to be an encourager is to encourage them with God!

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

IT CAN HIT THE SPOTS WE CANT!!

“to provoke unto love and good works”

Life makes people do crazy things

the loss of a loved one, feeling alone, feeling like you’re not enough, feeling like there is no way out

GOD CAN MAKE A WAY THROUGH DARK TIMES IN PEOPLE’S LIVES

BUT GOD WANTS TO USE US TO DO IT

We are told to “PROVOKE unto love and good works”

What we say can determine what they do

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY!!

James 3:5–8 “Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.”

WE NEED TO PRAY

THE BEST WAY WE CAN CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER IS TO PRAY!!!

Everyone can see the physical need to pray for… but what about the Spiritual needs?

When you have a burden for a friend, family, or lost person and don’t know what to pray… PRAY!!!

WE HAVE AN ADVOCATE THE WITH THE FATHER!!

Romans 8:26 “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

WE HAVE A GOD THE SEES THE NEED AND KNOWS WHAT TO PRAY AND HE PRAYS THROUGH US!!!

“So much the more as ye see the day approaching”

THE DAY OF TEMPTATION

THE DAY OF TRIALS

THE DAY OF DISCOURAGEMENT

THE DAY OF SATANS ATTACKS

THE DAY OF SALVATION

THESE DAYS WILL COME SO PREPARE WITH PRAYER!!!
