Scripture: Mark 1:16-20 (Jesus Calls the Disciples)
Theme: The road to the cross starts with a call.

Jesus invites us to follow Him, but discipleship requires leaving behind the familiar.

Sermon Outline:
    1.    Introduction:

Every journey begins with a step.

    •    The disciples left their nets, careers, and security to follow Jesus.
    •    What are we willing to leave behind for Christ?

The Call is Personal

    •    Jesus called Simon, Andrew, James, and John by name.
    •    He calls us today—not just to believe but to walk with Him.

The Call is Disruptive

    •    Following Jesus means stepping into the unknown.
    •    What comforts or habits hold us back?

The Call is Transformational

    •    The disciples didn’t just follow; they became fishers of men.
    •    Walking with Jesus changes who we are and what we do.
Application Questions:

What is God calling you to leave behind?

Are you willing to follow Jesus even when the road is uncertain?

Call to Action:
    •    Spend time in prayer this week, asking God to reveal His call for you.
