Gender: Created by God

Distinct yet Complementary Differences:

Made this Way: (Gen. 1:27 and Matt. 19:4).

Made Differently: (Gen. 2:7, Gen. 2:21–22).

Made to be One: (Gen. 2:24, Matt. 19:5, Mark 10:8 and Eph. 5:21-33)

Differing but Complementary Roles / Responsibilities / Accountabilities: (Gen. 2:18 and 2:23 – Gen. 3:18-19, Rom. 5:12-21, 1 Cor. 11:3 (cf. the church 1 Cor. 12:12-31)

Note: The roles of Christ and the Church are not reversible; neither are the roles of husband and wife (Ephesians 5:21-23; Colossians 3:18-19; Titus 2:3-5; 1 Peter 3:1-7).
