How do we know God? through his revelation. The scriptures.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Why scripture? why is it that only through scripture we can get to know God?

Word came in the flesh to revel to us himself (Jesus) and the Father
Jesus as the word, and his words are written down and now we can get to know him through his world
its like texting someone and getting to know them through texts

identity is a consequence of what "I" define it to be or feel it to be.
"expressive individualism": I want to express my self, but also be accepted into society as a whole.

Union with Jesus, looking upon Jesus, the True human, to discover what it means to be human.
Knowing Him will enable us to know oursleves
if he made us, as john 1.3 says, and became like us in his incarnation, would it only be right to look at him to know what it means to be a human

This was my vision or thought behind all of the youth group, yet what are your want your ideas, thoughts, insights, desires, and heart so I can cater this time to your needs and places you guys want to explore

Do the “Christianity Explored, or discipleship explored course together
Are there particular questions you guys want to look into and explore, I can send out a form where we you all can, anonymously propose questions to go over as a group. If the topic or idea is something that I can't answer or engage with, I will invite other people from the church to participate in the distinctions

20 min introductory taught, insight and idea by the leader (guest leaders)
25-30 min open discussion engaging scripture together
10 min last remarks, and what have you learned today or have further questions.
