Christians have the privilege of sharing Jesus Christ with others. Our methods must be determined by the individuals with whom we are sharing Jesus.
Paul’s pattern (Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”)

I. Sharing Jesus Involves Meeting People Where They Are- 17:1–2a

For the Jews, Paul went to synagogues
For the Greeks, Paul met them in market places (17:17)
For us, it can be anywhere we are

II. Sharing Jesus Involves His Word- 17:2b-3

“From the Scriptures”
Why would Paul do this?
It was the Jewish people’s “Bible”
It was saturated with Jesus Christ
“reasoned” - a formal discussion, very common in the synagogue
“explaining” to open, (diagnosis)
“demonstrating” -to prove (cf. 24:13)
How can we study the Word of God in order to share it with others?
Spend enormous time thinking about the Word of God- Deut. 6:6–9 (heart- mind, emotions, and will).
Spend enormous time meditating on the Word of God- Psalm 1:1–3.
Seek to apply the Word of God to your life- Psalm 119, Proverbs.
Work with others on applying God’s Word- Eph. 4:15.
Trust God for the results- 1 Cor. 3:5–8.

III. Sharing Jesus Involves Changed Lives- 17:4

Christians have the privilege of sharing Jesus Christ with others. Our methods must be determined by the individuals with whom we are sharing Jesus.
