Team Outlook
Vision: Empowering athletes to grow in skill, character, and teamwork through a supportive and competitive softball community
Core Values:
Hustle — Always give your best effort, on and off the field
Encouragement — Lift up teammates with positivity and support
Accountability — Take responsibility for your actions and growth
Respect — Show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, and the game
Toughness — Stay resilient and determined, no matter the challenge
Philosophy: Progressive over Perfection
Our coaching philosophy is centered on progress over perfection. We believe every player has the potential to grow, and our role as coaches is to cultivate a positive, supportive environment where athletes build confidence, learn fundamentals, and develop a love for the game. Success is measured not just by wins, but by personal and team improvements — every practice, every play, every game. We celebrate effort, resilience, and the small victories that lead to big achievements, fostering a culture where players encourage one another and take pride in their growth on and off the field.
Calendar
Practices will be held at Gaunt Park from 4:30PM-6:00PM for the rest of the season. If it’s raining, we will be in the high school gym from 5:30PM-7:00PM
Our first scrimmage is on March 18 at Gaunt Park at 5:00PM. Currently, our last scheduled game is May 3 at 8:00PM at Wright State
There have already been some changes to the schedule // I will update later tonight
The game schedule is available on the Band App
My expectation is for everyone to be available for games. I already know we have some conflicts. Please make this a priority. It’s a team sport and we need everyone available
