Proficiency in the Bible in my option is the greatest evedance that Christianity and the bible is true. And also helps disprove false religions when they try and have a proficey and it fails.

The Bibles own standerd of proficy is stated in Deuteronomy 18:20-22

20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a message in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods—that prophet must die.’ 21 You may say to yourself, ‘How can we recognize a message the LORD has not spoken?’ 22 When a prophet speaks in the LORD’s name, and the message does not come true or is not fulfilled, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

So Gods standers according to the Bible is that If someone makes a false proficy they are not speaking from God and we do not need to be afraid of them. or in other worlds If they get the proficy wrong we don't lissen to what else they have to say. And this logily makes sense God by his nature is outside time space and matter. and if he is outside of time he can revile things thatv are going to happen and also sense he is outside time he cant be wrong about what is going to happen.

And we should take this searisly to many christans are saying God told me this and God told me that and people tell someone a profedic world like Jesus told me you would be my wife. and then that person dsoe not become your wife. we need to stop that becuse if we were still under the old testemt law we would be stoning you. I am not saying God dose not speak or give visons to indivals ok im not sayinfg that but we need to take it verry searisly when dealing with proficey.

Like i said false proficys dispoves false relions. Joseph smith is a proven false profic D an C 84 temple lot.

Remember If One thing dose not come ture they are not from God, Do not be afraid of him. I am not afrid of Jose smith and the LDS teaching. and neather sould you.

Another thing about proficey before we examine bible proficy is. self fullfilling proificy, limited outcomes and generic poroficy. If I say I seak fromthe lord this pen will fall on the ground in the next 30 seconds. dose this make me a profit. No This is self fulling. The Eagales won the superbowl last year. If at the begining of the year someone said the eagles were going to win. are they a profit from God. No theres only 32 teams if you had 100 people give there perdictions for who was going to win and 2 out of the 100 said the eagles are going to win that dose not make them a profit another example is if I said its going to rain today. we live in washington that happens in someplaces morethen 50% of the time. Theres also Genaric proficy we see this is a lot of hyper Pentecostal churches were someone will proficy over someone. they will say “God is showing me that he has a plane for you. he is going to use you midaly.” yah thats not a proficy thats way to genaric. If I say theres going to be a tragity in amarica this year, yah tragitys happen all time thats way to genaric. but if i said a man is going to run people over with a truck on bourban strite on new years and it happended. thats spasific.
