so share ALL TIME w/ God

retreating like Christ into mountain of heart/mind
Go off silent wilderness or Christ in host
shut door inner mind to world
be at mountain where heaven touches earth
How?
climb mountain above earthly things
ever so imp may be, under your feet now
heights frightening, want to clean to ground
voices start screaming:
what about this appointment, this chore, this fear
hear fine, but DONT LISTEN,
let them b noise
outside door mind knocking no longer inside w/
under your feet
look up to heavenly God in mind (no images more idea)
Like the disciples, tired
the world seems energy, and shutting it off can seem (quite literally and psychologically) like sleep
must shut out what normally keep u up
only “fully awake” opportunity to glimpse His glory with our reason/heart, not eye
As 1 jn 3:2 says, seeing him begins to transfigure you and me into being like Him
What does
recharges us
w/o connection God, no power transferred
grow grim, dull, cantankerous
As preped the 3 for crucifixion by taste o glory so we equipped going back into valley tears
Conclusion
As Christ goes mountain prayer so us
shut out world
as he prayed: trasnfig,
so will we beging to as exp him
