Introduction:

Have you ever wondered why stuff just keeps happening?
Have you ever been to a breaking point and said “I cannot take anymore”
Uttered the words “Nothing good can come out of this”
Of course you have- We have all said these phrases as were in the midst of a storm.
They examined the backgrounds of 300 highly successful people.
They discovered that ¾ of them came from broken homes, raised by parents that at some point rejected them.
74 out of the 85 writers of fiction and drama and 16 of the 20 poets looked at experienced abusive drama and parents screaming at them abusively.
¼ of them had handicaps such as blindness, deafness, or dysfunctional limbs
Joseph, one of Jacob’s sons, faces a whirlwind of trials and triumphs. Sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, Joseph ends up in Egypt as a servant in Potiphar's house. Despite being a slave, Joseph proves himself trustworthy and is put in charge of the household. However, Potiphar's wife falsely accuses him of assault after he rejects her advances, leading to his imprisonment.
In prison, Joseph earns the others trust and interprets the dreams of two fellow prisoners, Pharaoh's cupbearer and baker. His interpretations are accurate: the cupbearer is restored to his position, while the baker is executed. Joseph asks the cupbearer to remember him, but he forgets for two years.
Pharaoh then has troubling dreams that no one can interpret. The cupbearer remembers Joseph, who is summoned to explain the dreams. Joseph, with God's help, reveals that Egypt will experience seven years of abundance followed by seven years of severe famine. Impressed, Pharaoh appoints Joseph as second-in-command to oversee preparations for the famine.
Through his wisdom and leadership, Joseph saves countless lives and rises from a betrayed brother and prisoner to a powerful leader. These chapters showcase resilience, faith, and the unpredictable journey of redemption.
Genesis 45:5 “5 And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.”
Acts 17:26–28 NIV
26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’

Stay focused on God, Not the Situation

Your place in life doesn't have to make sense

Did a desert make place to Moses

Did a pasture, cave or delivering food make sense to David

Did a manger make sense to Mary and Joseph

Did a cross make sense

You may not know the future but know who holds the future

Stop whining and start winning

Know that there is a purpose for your position.

Position in time

Position in place

Genesis 45:5 “5 And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.”
