Receiving your inheritance (Lifes Laundry)

Do you know that you have an inheritance in Christ? Like you have an inheritance and sometimes I think sometimes we fully we don't fully understand the abundance of The Inheritance that we have. That is available to is and sometimes we don't always receive it because we have some issues in our lives that we need to work through cuz it makes sense. I want to talk to you about that. I want to look at Luke 15 this morning, quite a long scripture, but it's really important to read this to understand some of the point I'm making to this is the food and story that Jesus talks to some Pharisees and religiously lead lead us. He's talked about a lost claim a lost sheep. Now, he gets into this family Dynamic, who usually got problems with sheep, but with family to get more problems, don't wait. So we're going to look at this family Dynamic, Jesus continued, so it's Luke 1511 to see if you want. He predestined those for adoption in to sonship through Jesus Christ in accordance with his pleasure and well, to the praise of his glorious Grace, which he has freely given those In the one he lost in him, we have Redemption through his blood, the Forgiveness of sins in accordance with the riches of God's grace that you love by the login. It is a lot in that, but I believe this is what Paul was doing was explaining how you get your inheritance, what your inheritance is, but how you get it to understand, this, we go to understand something about adoption. What it means to be adopted, but what it meant to be adopted than now, I don't know what it's like to be adults. And I had decent parents not to affect parents to. Somebody said to me, oh, it's like your adult teeth. I didn't kind of got lot because I always felt that I owed. Logan, my family. So it doesn't quite make sense to me. We don't hear much about adoption but Romans adopted people not losing money. You got to stay to see how the house and he wanted to pass it on. You want you to carry on his name? What you would do? You got Freedom From Slavery, slavery to wall, I know sweetheart. I'm on my slave to the Bible teaches that were slave to sin. First of all, the power of sin in our lives were slave to these two sons. They were both slaves. No, one of them was a slave to what we call. Had an ism, which is seeking pleasure to fill fill a hole or a gap in his life. And you can see if he keeps feeling it to even even leave and looks at the pig bugs and thinks they looks like he's fine. He's eating more every time to fill this hole in it. Never satisfies. Why? Because he's a slave to sin and sin is never satisfied. So, he's enslaved to send you the one. He's enslaved to the Lowell. You got to do it my way. I do know this I'm ended and he's a slave to any of his love by his works and both of them are in slavery. But this is a good thing. Jesus Christ came, first of all God shows you. He says I want you, I love you. I'm taking you out of the power of sin and I'm putting you into a new family. I loving family of God, you never will abandon you or leave you. This is the heart of the father you hearing this. So he takes you out. He takes you out of this wrong, wrong spirit and put you into a different home. And a different spirit is called the spirit of adoption and you are adopted Into the Heart of God. Now, it's a trustworthy place, it's a living place, it is a place that is safe and sound safe and Sounds. There is a place in God that is safe and sound for you, where there's no condemnation, God loves you and it's making sense. So you're free. You you got taken out of slavery, of sea and slavery of the lore. You don't need to end that love. You know what a child is born? They come out right? I'm guessing only, I wasn't my children, they come out and said hey. What do I need to do to earn your love? None of them came out and said. You need the dishes doing, I'll do them. I wish that would happen. Yeah, it's not me, but you understand what I'm saying? They don't need to. I looked at my child and I just love them with all of my heart. It's the same heart that God has for you. You don't need to any God, loves you from slavery. And it says that the father chose to do that before the beginning of the world. She chose in love. There's nothing we can do about La slave, he can't get out of it. But the doctor, the Roman comes in and says, I want you have chosen, you let me take you out of that family and put you into a new family. Amen. I feel is choo. Choo choo choo sound, like, I'm feeling Church in the spirit of adoption, is his favorite option. In this place that adults people and accept people and loves people. I believe is unit to that. People feel safe and sound. When they come in, they don't feel Georgia to do is just a real sense. I am a child of the Living. God I'm not a slave anymore on the struggle with it. One of them came back and said I'll just be a slave in the house. What does the father say? You are my son refuses to give him a slave mentality. So you are my son and he gives you money comes in with the road. He says that you're my child, I love you. I don't want this shame anymore. I'm going to cover. Shame. How, how does that happen? How do we get on Tuesday to see if we get that new States has by the Sun? The song? Jesus Christ, came to rescue us and redeem is by his bloated. So, the death of that slavery was paid by God's son sent to you. He took your place and not place in slavery, heat to kill sin on the cross. I'll take your place so I can get you out of the redeem, you and put you into a new life and you are Redeemed by the blood of the Sun, a man, you'll forgiven Come on. Yeah, we get it wrong some days. But you are forgiven, you are absolutely forgiven. Your future now is safe and sound, you'll forgiven by the blood of Jesus. You got a big brother that stood up for you into to place. I'm a big girl that you didn't stand up for me, but we've got a big brother who's Faithful is three sons in this story. Is once only runoff is why I'm so nice day today. I am not just every day, but eternity now, he's secure safe and sound because of the payments of the blood of the son, got you that? Now you say how can, how can you be sure though. How can you be? How do we get into Christ by faith trust and that Jesus died for it and accepting the Forgiveness of God by faith? I choose to trust in God, that we got in, this is included and cries. When you hit the message, God speaks to us. And we open our hearts and say, I want to believe the message. He says, the message of Truth, The Gospel of your salvation. It says when you believed you were more in him. When is Seal? The promise, Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing? Our inheritance come on. So you have a father who tells you you by the payment to be bored and now you have a Holy Spirit and comes and lives in you and steals you guaranteeing your inheritance on your future. How good is God? A man to the Father, the Son, and the spare a roll uniting, together to rescue you, and secure your future on. Guaranteeing your inheritance in Christ Jesus. But I look desperate says until the Redemption of those who all ghost possession.

You know, Jesus Christ died. He was Gladstone, he died for you and for me and because God was so pleased with that sacrifice, he gave his son an inheritance. And that inheritance is the greatest thing. He could have received the greatest Richie's that inheritance is you and you are his inheritance. You're the one who he died for. What do I want? More than anything I want my children. I want my, I want my creation so I will die and The Inheritance that he received was you, you are his special treasure that he was willing to sacrifice his life for What stops doing this then? I mean, what you say. Sometimes I struggle and we all struggle to walk stops. His walking in this inheritance and believe in the blessing of God and out working. It three quick things in K. Number one, You've got to stop the cycle of deception. You going to stop the cycle of deception, because if you believe the word, you'll start to walk in it. If you don't read the word, you won't believe the word. But if I read that, I'll start to accept and believe that I am going to child, and I have an inheritance and I can walk in it. But if I don't do this, I'm not going to believe he's. And he's so easy in life, through life experiences and then choose to believe because things happened to us, that this is who I am. So you might have had something that you didn't feel a little tired and you go. I am not loved. And I walked through life saying, I'm not loved or I'm not very nice and we believe that lie because of life's experiences from my experience was not very nice slavemaster. So we still enslave through deception, is this making sense and the journey for is to is to inherit our inheritance is go through a journey of Renewal by changing the way we think and if we change the way we think that will change the way we behave because of the truth that we receiving in Christ who you are. As soon as you are sending you, our daughter, you get up tomorrow and know that you are valuing within this world. No matter what anybody says, you won't follow you. You want to go to treasure and he paid a high price for you to you whether that's rude. How can I win? The backstroke but he gave me I meet you at the f****** car because this is my Father in heaven and he loves me. So you go to break the cycle deception that means it time to go to book about the belt of Truth. You going to say hey I'm going to hang on to this truce. I might be going through. What? Feels like a cycle if I can walk. I'm stuck in the washing machine. Everyday experience life. You know. You feel like you're being thrown around everywhere. I decide. What's going on? How do I get out of this? We'll go through the cycles atonement, but if you hold on to the truth, I'll guarantee Jesus. Is it? Faith is faithful, he's guaranteed. And you'll come through the other side and you'll get transformed person. You'll come out your washing machine completely difference. So you got to stop the cycle of deception. Say, hey, I'm going to stick to this. I'm going to commit, even though I don't feel like it times. I'm going to trust in Jesus. The second one. And I think this is the biggest. What is the biggest one for me? You've got to stop the cycle of rejection.

Rejection. I'll guarantee it's some point. You will be been rejecting anybody being rejected? Yeah, I remember being in primary school, we used to play football. I wasn't very good at football. Then and then, wrap it up two teams on the playground. And you have one person, he stopped taking the players for his team in the other one and pick and you'd read it because they pick the best one. And then you pick the best one and he'd be launched. Meet and where would I go in goal? Cuz nobody else wants you to go and go. I was like someone would just pick me and very often. You feel that me jaction And I think in life, we both experienced rejection, we've all experienced some, some disappointment where I know, maybe it lost to Joe, you didn't get the job or the relationship that somebody turned away from you. So I don't want to be with you anymore. These things really hurts really hurts and we've going to be able to process these things. We're going to be able to walk through and be open and honest for processing so that they don't have a great fondness for the rest of our lives. you know, when I was in,

When I was growing on, my mom, was a really kind loving, not a great parents, but the quite a few years, I had low self-esteem, I still struggle with it at times, and for the past three years, I struggle with anxiety and I don't understand why I was so ugly with anxiety and of wrestle Truitt and speak to my wife, she'll tell me my good days and bad days but I'm still would like a low self-esteem and anxiety. And recently, I spend some time just listening to some things and talkin to the Lord and I felt like the Lord showed me some things of my past might from when I was a child and all these things. It affected me. And I remember going to school, I thought was visual image of going to school and my mom dropping me off at school with a lady who had never met before the stranger. Stranger danger, your torch, don't speak to strangers to me. Mom takes me school. You should leave me with a stranger by night before and my mom literally turned away and walked out went down. The corridor will tell the door and left me to do. She want to be a child at that moment I thought and at this is why did I win? Even though I was screaming at my mom and she just turned the Wayne County, I'm working. And then when I was a little bit older Michaels left again strange strange house strange children and she she left me that and she turned away and she went to work you know, it's most parents too and I kind of felt like Mom, I'm scared. You're not listening to me. I don't want to laugh with these changes, which really compounded that experience for. This is what I found. The Lord showed show me. What's happened to you in life? Is when your mom turned away from you. And when you shouted to it, it was like what I was saying, didn't might say, she turned away from me, and I made the decision in my heart that My mom's not listening to me and she's not listening to me. I don't want to if I don't even exist. If I don't exist, I don't want to and I have no, I have no value. No, I didn't. I didn't understand is a five-year-old, a six-year-old, how to deal with that now? I'm 50 and God saying, come on, let's deal with this low self-esteem, that you've got 50 and I'm still working this thing, the God still loves me. Even though I've got my issues in my struggles, and it 50 is saying, let's go to this cycle, cuz every time someone rejects you, you feel like you're not love. You need to know that my love is deeper than that doesn't make sense. Cycle. What happens when we have bought we have to reject people when they don't give us what we want, right? Because because I love your self-esteem. We going to break them cycle to understand God's blessing God's inheritance in. God's love is way deeper than all of those rejections. Does that make sense? All it takes is. You look to someone you, you want the information and someone doesn't offend me, it could be a job. It could just be somebody giving you a pack of sweets and you go out. And I know I'm not a brother and sister could be just a small moments. And you make that decision which is deception that you are not loved and not for goes with you for the rest of your life are sometimes. We might not work out where that is but actually, if you can recognize the lie that I'm not loved and say, I want to know that I'm loved and experience the love of God in the spirit of adoption. That makes me safe and sound and feels. My heart is pull it pull promiseas then I can be safe and sound and feel more secure on this journey. Does this make sense? And we all got stuff. We've been through. But I think about whose and not paying if we don't deal with these, it stops is living in the inheritance that we have in Christ. Jesus. It stops his knowing that will really love and we can love others with his love. He still with. Right. So then the last one, I'll just put Jonah is the cycle of legalism cycle to legalism the older brother. If he knows, he's one brother, he's rebellious he goes off and wastes everything you're the one. He's a real good boy. He stays at home, he conforms. He says I will do as I'm told and then when the other brother comes home and being grateful to be conduit, I've been slaving Ivan this to legalistic people. Yes, they might look good on this Earth, he's put in that Hall, they called be graceful. They called me laughing because the end of cycle of legalism is evening and I don't mess. And I can prove this, both are from a place of woundedness, Botha from a place of like, struggle with the inheritance and seeing, if you notice, what the father says to him, he says my son. He says you are always with me and everything I have is yours. I don't see a season self as a, I would call an orphan. He doesn't see himself as low in a new family with everything that God has for him. So we hold If you're ever often do you have lost things in your life? Then you'll hold on to it. And say I can be generous but if you want and a family that abundantly blessing you and you can trust, then you freely give it away like it's really been given to you. So you have to watch out for these for these wounds and I lied because I believe the stuff is living in our inheritance and receiving it. And it's flowing through is to blast all the people

You know, one person who I believe, approached, his rejection, and in a way that God loved was King David. When King, David struggled in his in his journey, you would often go to God In Prayer. It would often offload. He's paying it would often go to even express how he was feeling, and God would meet you and minister to him. I'm starting off again, he could be in the woods to situations. You have a joy and a piece and feel safe and sound even though people are against. And even though people rejected I want to read Psalm 27, it says this, we're going to finish with this in a minute. So I'm 27 says this, the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear? Like if you struggle with low self-esteem or what people say or think, because you don't really know, I looked you all he says the Lord is my light on my life. He says the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom. Shall I be afraid? just one thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek Try me, dwell in the house of the Lord, all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord, and to seek him in his Temple or in the day of trouble, he will keep me safe in his dwelling. What does David safe Davy says? I need my eyes to be on God and I need to know that God's eyes are on me. He's not turning his back on me. He's not rejecting me. But his eyes are Forever on me. If I know the Lord's eyes are on me, I know he loves me. This make sense, he says, then hear my voice when I call out Lord, be merciful to me. And answer me. My heart says of you, seek his face. He wants to see his face. Your face Lord. I will seek do not hide your face from me. So don't turn away from me and send me that I'm loved. You don't turn your servants away and angry. You would be my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me. God, my savior, but my father and mother forsake me. The Lord will receive me every time, the Lord, and you would receive him no matter where we been, no matter what he doing, just like a prodigal. When he came home, what was the father doing? He was waiting for him. What was he doing? He was looking for, in his eyes were always on him. If they would never offer, they would never think you owe money if he comes again with that mistake know. He says let's go again and let's try again with second chance of the Second Chance With Jesus. A man is eyes are always on the side. When you doubt, if his eyes are on you you say no. I can rest in the knowledge of thought even though I feel like I'm in a washing machine, going around, you are safe, secure, faithful and Constance. And I believe if you do this, no matter what you go through in in your life, your inheritance will continue to be flooding in you and through you and you will bear fruit. you know that, I'm giving you some practical things that when we look at when you're dealing with walking in that inheritance with the father, And the stages of a song. Practically. You can bless people if you're not blessing people, you're cursing. People usually is because Something's Happened to you, but if you're blessing people, you'll know your heart is good and the inheritance won't gold. Want you to do is flowing through you. That's a practical thing you can do.

But, you know, sometimes spiritually something that happened to his, and they need to be addressed in our hearts. We need, we need the father to come in in healers and we need to bother to heal wounds. We need the father to come in and give us a revelation of his love. That says, while I will love you forever, even though you wouldn't even though you make mistakes, I will always love you, sometimes, we need a fresh revelation of eloping. With I know when I do, so I want to pray for you spiritually, but God would speak to your heart. Say Lord, speak to my heart. This morning. I can know you more and more may.
