Genesis 2:15 “And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.”

Introduction

Work was never the curse.
If you don't know the purpose of something you will likely abuse it.
Genesis 3:17–18 KJV 1900
And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Sin is the reason work gets exhausting
Your purpose isn't for you. Your purpose is God's purpose.
We think working is for us.
Psalm 138:8 “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: Forsake not the works of thine own hands.”
2. You don't just find your purpose you serve God's purpose.
Acts 13:36 “For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:”
When you find the will of God you serve the purpose of God.
3. When/how will God show me?
Psalm 78:70 “He chose David also his servant, And took him from the sheepfolds:”
In time God will show you. But you need to faithfully serve him.
How? Blooming where God has planted you!!
When David slayed Goliath, he didn't intentionally Go there to do that. He went to serve his brother's. He brought them food. And in his faithfulness serving. God revealed an opportunity.
