Is verse 6
Part # 2
" Not Denied, but Delayed "
A lot of our Blessings are in the Delayed mode and have not been
Denied by God,
Child of God, you and I, must not allow Frustration to hinder us
before the blessings of God are Manifested in our lives.
We have become too focused on the enemy (The World) and
what it is doing and this has become a distraction, for the people of God.
So, the question become who is lacking our focus and attention?
I submit to you,
That God and his Word is lacking our Focus and attention,
So much so
That we cannot receive God's Direction, for focusing on distractions.
Daniel 7:25
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and
shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws:
and they shall be given into his hand until a time and timesand
the dividing of time.
Childrens of the most High God
Three things this Antichrist spirit will do, thinking to change
times and laws
Accord to
The Bible Knowledge Commentary and I agree
(1 ) He will oppose God's Authority; He will speak
against the Most High God.
Revelation 13:6
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to
blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
(2) He will oppress His saints (Mainly, Israel).
(3) He will introduce an entirely new era (New World Order)
In which he will abandon all previous laws
and institute his own system.
These are all the things we can expect and we can see some of
ithappening in these last days.
Paul warns Timothy about the conditions, namely,
"perilous times" of the"last days"
II Timothy 3:1-5
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ
1 This knows also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For menshall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters,
proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent,
fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of
God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from
such turn away.
The Writer of Our Text is
The apostle and evangelist John "The beloved disciple" he the son of a fisherman called Zededee, and his mother's name was Salome.
John
Is a member of "Jesus's inner circle" and the youngest of the twelve Disciples.
He Was to Present:
Jesus Christas God, as Jehovah's Messiah and Son.
All of the 4 gospels give us a well-roundedPresentation of Jesus Christ as being
God’ ideal King, ideal Servant, and ideal Man.
“Here is John Baptize doing what God called him to do “
Matthew 3:13
13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptizedof him.
14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Here is God's Authority on the subject
1 Corinthians 15:45
45 And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
1 Corinthians 15:21-22
21 For since by mancame death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
He is God in the Flesh, He is God with Us
Matthew 1:23
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Matthew 28:18
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
" Not Denied, but Delayed "
Daniel 10:12
Gabriel explained the reason for his delay-ness in God's answer to Daniel's prayer.
When Daniel first began fasting and mourning in response to the vision of a great war
God had dispatched Gabriel with a message for him, but Gabriel was hindered by the prince of the Persian kingdom
In other word he was Delayed
The Amplified Bible Translation
Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. [They were His dear friends, and He held them in loving esteem.]
Therefore [even], when He heard that Lazarus was sick, He still stayed two days longer in the same place where He was.
He was waiting on the Father timing
Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.
It was Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.
Adam Clarke's said to us this!
God's delays, in answering prayers to proofs his purpose,
and they are also proofs that his wisdom finds it necessary to permit an increase of the affliction, that his
goodness may be showed.
David Psalm 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
Delayed mean:
made late, made to happen later than intended or expected.
The Synonyms for delayed is:
late, behind, behind schedule, overdue, tardy, deferred, put off, pushed back, held up.
You and I sometime,
we are slow to do a thing, we hesitate, or we delay.
God sometime put thing off until later: He postpone it, or wait until later time before doing something.
So, the question is, Is He any less God
Because He Delay
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is God's Authority
He is intentional
Intentional mean; Doing with intention and on purpose.
By the power of His word.
He had to delay Abraham and Sarah with son, untill they was old.}}}
I have delayed them, but I have not denied them
A certain man who was sick emphasizes that Lazarus is not the primary focus of the story.
The main emphasis is that Jesus and the Father would be glorified through his resurrection.
He's just the instrument that God would use.
So, the sisterssent word to Him, saying,
"Lord, behold,he whom You love is sick."
But when Jesus heard that, He said,
“He sent word back“
"This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby."
When a person is physically dead, he or she does not respond to such things as food, temperature, or pain.
When a person is spiritually dead, he or she does not respond to spiritual things.
Their have no interest in God,
the Bible,
Christians, or church
until the Holy Ghost begins to work in their heart.
Gen. 2:15-17
Remember God warned Adam that disobedience would bring death
physical death (the separation of the soul from the body) and
spiritual death (the separation of the soul from God).
Look at the delay he set on us and the world.
God is delaying Jesus even now that's Soul's maybe Born Into the kingdom of God
Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So when He heard that he was sick, He then stayed two days longer in the place where He was.
The most important theme in the universe is the glory of God.
It’s in all Creation, Because God's glory is in-trinsic to His nature, the Bible refers to Him as the God of glory.
The Glory of Israel
The King of glory
The high and exalted One
God the Father is called the Father of glory
Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory
And the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of glory
God's in-trinsic glory is uniquely His, and He will not share it with anyone else.
After the two-day delay was over, Jesus said to the disciples, "Let us go to Judea again."
The disciples protested, "Rabbi, the Jews just the other day was seeking to stone You.
John 8:58-59
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was,I am.
59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
and are You going there again?" why not do it from a distance like you have done before.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your spoken Word
We must remember that Jesus was under Authority, His Father Authority, acting in Authority
"Are there not twelve hours in the day?If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.
But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the lightis not in him."
this He said, and after that He said to them
In Our Text Jesus
Declare
"Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I go, so that I may awaken him out of sleep."
The disciples then said to Him, "Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover."
Jesus then said to them plainly, "Lazarus is dead,
and I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may believe; but let us go to him."
Thomas, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples, "Let us also go, so that we may die with Him."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days.
Martha therefore, when she heard that Jesus was coming, went to meet Him, but Mary stayed at the house.
Martha then said to Jesus, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.
Even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You."
Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again." Martha said to Him,
"I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last
day
Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life Whoever
believes in Me, although he may die, yet shall he shall live;
Do you believe this? She said to Him, Yes, Lord, I believed.
And He said, Where have you laid him? They said to Him, Lord, come and see.
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him
that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40 if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father,
I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people
which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 he cried with a loudvoice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with
graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin.
Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
