Luke 6:43–47 NASB95
“For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. “For each tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they pick grapes from a briar bush. “The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart. “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? “Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like:
So what is the fruit ? What Fruit are we looking for ?
Galatians 5:13–26 NASB95
For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.
Once, there was a gardener who prided himself on his fruit trees. However, the apples he produced were always small and sour. One day, a friend asked him how he managed to yield such terrible fruit. The gardener paused and said, 'Well, I never actually water them.' Just like gardeners nurture their trees, we need to nurture our spiritual lives. If we're not rooted in the Spirit, the fruit we show will reflect that!
Imagine a painter who insists on painting with muddy water. No matter how talented he is, the results won't be great. Similarly, when we live apart from the Spirit of God, even the best intentions can lead to poor fruit. We must tap into the right source to create beautiful outcomes in our lives!
What about a man that has no fruit?
Maybe he insnt a thief he doesnt cuss he is a pretty good guy all around but doenst have much fruit not of the flesh nor of the spirit
Mark 11:12–15 NASB95
On the next day, when they had left Bethany, He became hungry. Seeing at a distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if perhaps He would find anything on it; and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. He said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” And His disciples were listening. Then they came to Jerusalem. And He entered the temple and began to drive out those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves;
Luke 13:6–9 NASB95
And He began telling this parable: “A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any. “And he said to the vineyard-keeper, ‘Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’ “And he answered and said to him, ‘Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.’ ”
At a recent gathering, I overheard a couple sharing their plans for a picnic but laughing about their forgetfulness—they packed the sandwiches but no fruits! They jested, 'What’s a picnic without fruit to enjoy?' It got me thinking, our spiritual lives can often be like this. We may have the essential faith and doctrines, but without the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, patience—we miss out on the joy of living as Christians. Let’s make sure to pack some delicious fruit for our spiritual picnics!

Notice it says Fruit Not FRUITS
by the good fruits of the spirit on our lives we know and others know we belong to God
John 13:35 NASB95
“By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
I’ve noticed that the best restaurants often have the most enthusiastic staff. Their smiles and genuine kindness bring joy to every dining experience. When we live out the fruits of the Spirit—like gentleness and self-control—we become like those cheerful servers, bringing light and love to every interaction. Our service to others becomes a refreshing reminder of our God, who calls us to share His fruit with the world.
