2 Samuel 21:10
10 And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth and spread it for herself on the rock, from the beginning of harvest until it rained on them from the sky; and she allowed neither the birds of the sky to rest on them by day nor the beasts of the field by night.
Revelations 3:2 - Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God.
You will end the warfare
You will end the warfare
I would like to start today’s message with a simple statement that
We don’t always choose our battles, but we do choose our response
Some battles come to us because of something we did
Some battles come to teach us lessons
Some battles even come to promote us to our next level in God
But there are also some battles we are presented with because our predecessors retreated
And because they were not willing to kill their enemies, the warfare has been passed down to us
Even when David is preparing to leave the scene he let Solomon know his enemies are now Solomon’s enemies
And the only way we are going to truly see victory in our bloodline
The only way we are going to see victory in our lives
The only way the curse gets reversed is by you taking the stance of a curse breaker
And realize you have been given power to reshape the narrative of your lineage
Tell somebody, It stops here
The famine ends here
And this is how our text starts out
David is now King of all of Israel only to realize there has been a famine for three years
Ask your neighbor, how long are you going to stay in the famine?
David says I’ve got to do something about this
David goes to the Gibeonites
