God’s thoughts
There are many thoughts coming our way these days.
The world is ending.
Our country is going to only get worse.
We will never beat racism.
We will never get along.
This is the only way it will work.
Personal:
I am never going to be enough.
I will never get what I am aiming for.
I will never matter.
I will always be last.
I am to ugly, fat, short...
I am never going to fit in.
Romans 1:28 NASB95
28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,
Renewing of our Mind
Romans 8:5 NASB95
5 For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Matthew 16:23 NASB95
23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.”
Romans 12 is what God told us to lead us in these times.
Romans 12:1–2 NASB95
1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
When we say or hear someone say “my truth”.
The Truth being a person.
John 14:6 NASB95
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life...”
John 8:31–32 NASB95
31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
The Truth makes you free.
“If you continue in My word...”
How do we continue in His word over us?
Do your thoughts rule you or are you ruling your thoughts?
2 Corinthians 10:5 NASB95
5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,
Does Jesus take your thoughts captive?
Did Jesus say He would rule your thoughts?
Take your thoughts captive and replace them with His Words.
Jesus tells us to let His Words sink in our hearts.
Let His words spring forth like water to your soul.
The Truth makes you free.
We have a role to play, especially when it comes to thoughts that are not Truth in our lives.
“If you continue in My word...”
How do you continue in His Word?
We have to build a muscle of  taking thoughts that are not truth and replace them with HIS WORD.
Continue In His Word is to believe His word over thoughts.
I am not even going to say OUR or MY thoughts, because that is not what they are.
To believe His word over what we see yet.
To see His Words before we see the fruit of His Word yet.
If you believe His word then your body will follow. “Bodies a living sacrifice.”
Declaring His Word will renew your mind to become the mind of Christ, and in turn, you will become a manifestation of His Word.
The best word to declare is a personal word from Jesus with emotions attached.
If you cant think of a personal word then we can go to His Words to find a generic truth.
Declaring His Word in your life with emotion and passion will cement His word in your heart.
How to get peace in your mind.
Philippians 4:6–7 NASB95
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Example:
Why does that thought have so much power in your life.
There is emotions and attached that made that lie sink in your heart.
Joanna and our Youth camping trip.
Toxic thoughts produce death.
God’s Word produces Life.
Body, Soul and Spirit
Your Body will take shape around the words you believe are True.
Your Soul will take shape around the words you believe are True.   Mind, Will and Emotions.
Your Spirit will take shape around the words you believe are True.
Promises:
You are adopted as hears in Christ.
All things work together for God for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Nothing can separate you from the love of God.
I will never leave you.
You are a daughter or son of God.
His yoke is easy and light.
He is my strength and my refuge.
He will never flood the earth again.
God is good and He loves you.
His Grace is sufficient (more then enough for you to become His Word.)
Activation:
What thought have been dominating your mind?
Take the thoughts you do not want, and give them to Jesus.
What WORDs or thoughts is Jesus telling you?
What is Jesus focused on?
