Good morning, church family! Today, we're turning our attention to Daniel chapter 7, but before we dive in, let's quickly review the journey Daniel has led us on through the first six chapters. Daniel and his friends show us clearly what it means to faithfully trust and serve God in every circumstance.

Review of Chapters 1-6:

Chapter 1: Faithfulness in Small ThingsThink back to Daniel, who chose vegetables instead of the king’s luxurious meals. Why did this matter? Because faithfulness starts small—daily decisions that honor God matter deeply. Friends, what are your small daily choices communicating about your faith?
Imagine Sarah, faithfully reading her Bible each morning; over years, her spiritual maturity blossomed.
Think of Mike, consistently tithing despite financial hardship; his trust in God grew stronger.
Consider Lisa, whose honest work ethic built an enduring reputation for integrity.
Chapters 2-4: God Reveals and Rules Over KingdomsDaniel’s interpretations of the dreams were powerful reminders of God’s sovereignty—kingdoms and rulers fade, but God remains forever. Let this truth settle in your heart: human solutions are temporary, God’s wisdom eternal.
Recall John, who rejected unethical shortcuts, fully trusting God's plan.
Reflect on Mary, who maintained peace amidst political turmoil, knowing God’s sovereignty.
Think of Tom, who calmly faced job uncertainty, assured by God’s reign.
Chapters 5-6: Courage in TrialsDaniel faced the lion’s den bravely, not because he was fearless, but because he fully trusted God’s presence and protection. True courage stems from faith, not self-reliance.
Picture Anna, facing illness confidently, trusting God's plan.
Imagine David, standing strong against false accusations, confident in God's justice.
Remember Karen, who courageously forgave deep betrayal, trusting God’s supportive presence.
Now, let's turn specifically to Daniel 7:

I. A Vision of Chaos (Daniel 7:1-8)

Daniel sees troubling visions—chaotic imagery of beasts emerging from a turbulent sea, symbolizing the chaos of worldly powers.
The chaos we witness today reflects humanity’s sinful ambitions and struggles.
Church, we must recognize this chaos without being consumed by fear.
Imagine families torn by conflict, cities divided, and nations engulfed by power struggles—storms that inevitably pass.

II. The Ancient of Days (Daniel 7:9-12)

In the midst of chaos, Daniel sees the Ancient of Days—God Himself—sitting firmly upon His throne. God's authority and dominion surpass any earthly turmoil.
Anchor your trust firmly in God's unwavering power.
God's sovereignty offers us peace, even when circumstances seem uncontrollable.
Visualize a lighthouse guiding sailors safely through violent storms; that is God’s steadfast guidance through life's trials.

III. The Son of Man (Daniel 7:13-14)

Daniel's vision then reveals the Son of Man—Jesus Christ—receiving authority, honor, and an eternal kingdom from God.
Unlike transient earthly rulers, Christ’s kingdom endures forever.
Align your life with Christ’s eternal kingdom principles rather than temporary worldly power.
Picture an endless horizon, representing Christ's eternal reign, constant and secure.

IV. The Saints Will Triumph (Daniel 7:15-28)

Daniel assures believers that despite persecution, God's people—the saints—will ultimately overcome.
God's promises are certain, providing hope and endurance through trials.
Persevere faithfully, trusting in God's guaranteed victory.
Imagine athletes enduring rigorous training, soldiers persevering through battles, artists perfecting their skills—all anticipating a rewarding triumph.
Conclusion:As we close today, reflect deeply on Daniel’s unwavering faith through every challenge. Amid oppression and uncertainty, Daniel remained faithful, trusted in God’s revelation, and courageously persevered. Likewise, amidst our own uncertainties, remember: true power and sovereignty belong only to God. Earthly kingdoms will inevitably fall, but God’s kingdom is eternal. Let’s move forward boldly, confidently anchored in Christ’s everlasting rule. Just as the dawn surely follows darkness, God's ultimate victory awaits us beyond our temporary struggles. Today, commit anew to living under the sovereign, secure, and everlasting reign of Christ, our eternal King.
