Definition of Awesome: extremely impressive or daunting; inspiring great admiration, apprehension, or fear:

Daniel 9:4 “And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;”

Amplified: I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed and said, “O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and extends lovingkindness toward those who love Him and keep His commandments,

 Psa 77:14 Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

Amplified: You are the [awesome] God who works [powerful] wonders;

You have demonstrated Your power among the people.
