There is safety in the presence of the Lord

Psalm 91 is filled with God’s promises for His people.
In this Psalm God is addressed in four ways that shows His love for us. In verses One and nine, He is called The Most High which we know as El Elyon. Also in verse i, He is known as The Almighty or Shaddai. In verses 2 and 9, He is the Lord Yahweh and again in verse 2, He is also My God.
The names are an indication of the immense power and resources that God has and will use to protect us, His people. He has promised to protect and preserve us through all dangers, at all times and in all circumstances.

Because the psalmist was convinced that there is security in trusting in the Most High God, he encouraged himself that he would be delivered from the various frightening attacks of wicked. He knew that the Lord had appointed His angels over him to protect him.

There is a place in God where our enemies are rendered inoperable. David speaks about dwelling and abiding with God. David tells us to dwell in the secret place or under the covering, shelter and shade off El Shaddai. This is a place of intimacy, which requires discipline and yet provides security from demonic infiltration.

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler

And from the perilous pestilence

1 Peter 5:8 NKJV
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
We must stay close to God because in His vicinity, there is great safety. Psalm 91:2 “I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.””
Elohim, who is our ruler and judge, is the One on whom we can rely and confidently trust. When you allow God to be your refuge, you will not be snatched from or plucked out of His hands by the trapper or bait-layer who is Satan. He comes only to kill, steal and destroy.
No weapon formed against you shall be able to prosper if you make the Lord your place of habitation. You will have God’s covering. It is His truth and faithfulness that become your shield and buckler. With God’s protection, you won’t have to fear the terror of the night. There are demons that come out at night to terrorize (heliophobic demons). There are demons who live in caves like trolls ( subterranean demons). Demons who live in water, even drinking water (aqueous demons) and there are demons who just hover around (aerial demons). You don’t have to fear Abaddon or Apollyon, the destroyer or the demon of death. Beelzebub, lord of the flies, or Molech, untimely death. The Word of the Lord is working for you and for us.

Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,

Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

10 No evil shall befall you,

Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,

To keep you in all your ways.

There are certain guarantees that we have:
Protection from attack
No fear of destruction
The ministry of guardian angels
Deliverance that lasts
Through the angels, which are commissioned by God, we have divine protection. How do we get to this place of complete deliverance and protection? The only way is by loving and knowing God.
Transference of spirits is a reality, but when we obey the Word of God when dealing with unclean spirits, we will not be contaminated. The truth is that a christian who cannot stop sinning is out of control. The enemy is occupying a part of that person’s life, and that person possesses no control. The purpose of demonic infiltration in the life of a believer is to make him or her live a life of doubt. The devil knows that without faith it is impossible to please God. Without faith we are damned.
The secret is to dwell in the secretplace of the Most High. There is safety when you abide in the presence of God.
