9:15- Prelude/Gathering Song
WELCOME/INTRODUCTION
Good morning kids! {Good morning!} … Let’s try that again… GOOD MORNING! {GOOD MORNING!}
Why can we trust God? We can trust God because He is faithful and does
everything for His glory and our good.
Welcome to Children’s Church.
We’re glad you’re all here to worship with us this morning.
SET LIMITS
It’s my turn to talk and your turn to listen.
Guess what!
In our story today- Joshua reminds the people to WORSHIP God
and that is what we get to do this morning!
We worship by praying and singing, and by reading God's true word- the Bible-
and we can worship even through giving.
We worship because he is worth it!
God wants you to know Him and He tells you how he wants to bring you back to Him through redemption.
So are you ready to worship God with me this morning?
???I can’t here you?
are you ready to worship God with me this morning?
ok let’s get this morning going with our Call to Worship…
our call to worship reminds us that it is GOD who invites us to come and worship him.
if you can read- Read the UNDERLINED parts with me, if not just listen.
Come, let’s praise God together!
For God is great, and worthy of our praise!
Let’s tell stories of God’s power and majesty,
His mighty acts throughout history:
for God is great, and worthy of our praise!
Let’s worship God together!
(Based on Psalm 145)
PRAYER
Our hands we fold- Our heads we bow, so we can talk to God just now.
Let’s pray. … Father in heaven, bless us with a beautiful sense of your presence that we may be at peace and may worship you with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Stand and sing

It’s now Time for the passing of the peace…lets take a few seconds to say hey to a friend…maybe give someone a high five or a fist bump- or just say hello..
9:32- MEMORY VERSE
We have a new memory verse this week! Our new verse comes from
the book of Psalm 24:8
"Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.”
PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE
Prayer is simply talking with God.
God hears us when we pray;
every single time
he wants to know you…
so through prayer- we get to talk to God.
Let’s keep in mind the ABC’s of group prayer:
A is audible - pray so others can hear you
B is brief - keep it short so others can pray
C is for Christ centered - let’s keep Jesus as the focus
We will start by thanking God..you can thank him for your friends, family, the things God has given you, or the things you see outside like the flowers , trees, or animals.
then we will bring our requests- or the things on our hearts to him. You can ask him for something or pray for someone
so jump in and pray with me.
Our hands we fold, our heads we bow..so we can talk to God just now.
Pray with me.
God you are so, so good and you love us so much.
Thank you for giving us a way to talk to you through prayer.
Thank you God for..…..(WAIT FOR A FEW KIDS TO PRAY)
Thank you God for bringing all my friends here today…
And thank you that we can bring all of our requests to you.
God today we ask you to….(wait on kids to pray)
(After several have prayed say): Now let’s pray as Jesus taught us to pray saying }
THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come your will be done on earth on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
CATHECISM
9:37- Question 31: What do we believe by true faith?
Answer: I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
9:38- GIVING/DOXOLOGY
(2 kids from 3/4th grade class collect the offering and you can ask them to come forward)
We’re going to continue to worship through giving.
Everything we have belongs to God
So now we get to give him back some of that with our tithes and offerings.
Don’t feel like you HAVE to have something to give.
But we’re going to pass an offering bag around if you’d like to give.
And we’ll sing the doxology as we do.
