The Genius of God’s plan, though, is that in our unrighteousness, we would melt under the wrath of God and we would die a second death in our unrighteousness.
But because Jesus was perfectly righteous to begin with, He could take on our unrighteousness and once the wrath of God burned away our unrighteousness from Jesus, He would stand righteous again.
