Devotion Title: “Faithful in Every Season”
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV)
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
I. Be Steadfast and Immovable
• Paul encourages the church to stand firm in their faith and calling.
• As we reflect on the past year and look to the next, we are reminded that stability comes from knowing Who we serve, not just what we do.
• Challenges may come, but we are called to remain rooted in Christ.
II. Always Abounding in the Work of the Lord
• This speaks of doing more than just the minimum—it’s about overflow.
• Our service to the Lord through the ministries of this church is not a burden, it’s a blessing.
• Let’s continue to abound in love, generosity, and faithfulness in all we do.
III. Your Labor Is Not in Vain
• What we do for Christ has eternal value—even when we don’t see the fruit immediately.
• From teaching classes, to serving behind the scenes, to giving sacrificially—God sees it all.
• Be encouraged: nothing done for the Lord is wasted.
Closing Thought:
As we conduct the business of the church tonight, let’s do so with joyful hearts, knowing that we are part of something eternal. We are not just keeping the lights on—we are shining His light in our community. Stay faithful. God is working.
