Introduction 2/Attention Grabber

Once again my names Ethan, but people call me noble.
Who I am:
HS BOYS YTH Leader
Photography team lead
and i do so much more, but more than all of that
I LOVE JESUSSSSSS
Everybody say “Jesus”
And what comes with my love for Jesus, is talking about Jesus, and telling others about Jesus.
Everybody look at there neighbor and say “it’s about, to go, DOWN”
Man do i have a word for you guys and i’m so excited for the Holy spirit to move but what i’m gonna need from you guys, is to lean in, and have open hands not necessarily in the physical, but within your hearts today, Amen??
If you have your notebooks or the note app, which by the way, you guys should be bringing your notebooks.
If you guys have your notebooks, the title of this message is gonna be “HERE I AM, SEND ME”
Y’all can’t see it but i’m kicking my feet back and forth on the inside, this is gonna be great y'all.
Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.””
Here i am, send me.

YOU’RE CALLED.

If there’s anything that i know that we as christians are called and commanded to do it’s to evangelize.
“Everybody say Evangelize”
To those who don’t know what evangelism is, and heard nothing but gibberish when i said evangelism, this is what it means:
To proclaim and invite others into the Gospel and the good news of Jesus christ.
put short, telling others about Jesus.
And Imma tell y’all a secret, thats not a secret because, all you really gotta do, is open up the bible and see for yourself.
But imma tell y'all a secret.
and it’s this.d
That You have a:
Purpose
and a voice.
AND A CALLING
Are you hearing this?
Because what the enemy will do, is take that very truth that God has intended for you live through, and twist it and try to make you believe you don’t have a calling, you don’t have a purpose and you don’t have a voice.
you have a purpose, a voice, and you have Calling.
All that God uniquely knitted within YOU. For what?
To share the good news.
To bear and deliver to others the Gospel.
To invite and tell others about this man Jesus who can change lives, and can change theirs.
All through YOU, your calling, your purpose, and your voice.
Because when you look at the scriptures and question whether or not we’re supposed to evangelize. It’s not an option, but our God given purpose and calling.
Everybody look at their neighbor and say “You’re called”
And i can just bet that there’s someone in the room probably thinking right now:
“Noble, Noble, but i’m not fit to tell someone about Jesus.”
“There’s people out there who are far more fit.”
“That’s not my calling, not my strength”
Moses
had a speech problem
—>but God CALLED HIM to lead Israel out of Egypt using his voice.
Gideon
Felt weak and insignificant
—>but God CALLED HIM to become a mighty warrior to save Israel
Jeremiah
Felt too young
—>but God CALLED HIM to become a prophet to the nations
Are you guys with me right now? I know its an hour or two before mama tucks you to bed but stay with me.
Peter - Unworthy BUT GOD CALLED HIM
Paul - Shameful BUT GOD CALLED HIM
David - just a Shepard boy BUT GOD CALLED HIM
Jonah - Ran from God BUT GOD CALLED HIM
Esther - Powerless BUT GOD CALLED HER(Girls too by the way)
And if that’s you in the room who’s thinking and saying to yourself:
“I’m not equipped to do such a thing, like evangelize.”
God doesn’t call the equipped, but He equips the called.
And what was the one thing Moses, Gideon, and all these other people had in common?
They were called by God, and through their submission and obedience, God equipped them.
Despite
What they felt.
Their weaknesses.
Their lineage.
Their gender.
Their Age.
Their baggage.
God Called them and they responded.
And you are no different, but my question to you is:
Gods calling you, but what is your response?
God is calling you guys to tell others about jesus, about the change and transformation that he’s done or is doing in your life.
but God’s calling on you, becomes just like text message sent to you that’s left on read if your response is to sit and stay still to that very calling.
