See Isaiah 53:4-6...
The Coming Cross

See Matthew 20:17-19...
Christ was going to face the full weight of God’s wrath for sinners.
John 6:38 “For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me.” (see John 8:29)
Isaiah 53:10 “Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.”
Look to Christ
Look to Christ
Since Christ set His face to the cross, we can set our faces to Christ and be saved.
Hebrews 12:2 “looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Isaiah 45:22 ““Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.”
See John 3:14-16...
Whoever looks to Christ in repentance and faith will be saved.
Mark 1:15 “and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.””
