Opening/Introduction

The word of God will tell you how to live under an open heaven, it will also show you those who lived under an open heaven and those who had an open heaven experience.
Jacob experienced an open heaven.
Genesis 28:12 NKJV
Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
Ezekiel experienced an open heaven.
Ezekiel 1:1 NKJV
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
Stephen experienced an open heaven.
Acts 7:56 NKJV
and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”
Jesus came in the form of flesh on earth, and He lived under an open heaven, but the word of God also showed us Jesus experienced an open heaven.
Matthew 3:16 NKJV
When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
God does not want you to just have an open heaven experience He wants you to live under an open heaven.
Living under an open heaven is only possible through Jesus Christ, He is the ultimate facilitator of open access to God's blessings. He embodies the fulfillment of the promises of God’s favor, securing a relationship with the Father that allows you to experience heaven's reality on earth.
You can live confidently under an open heaven, because God's grace and blessings are continually available to you through Jesus Christ, which will empower you to face life's challenges with courage and faith.
JESUS CHRIST IS THE KEY TO LIVING UNDER AN OPEN HEAVEN.

The Message

You cannot live under an open heaven if you cannot recognize that you have access to abundant grace and blessings available to you through faith in God. Faith gives you the assurance that you do not have to live in fear or scarcity, but you can confidently expect God's favor in your life every day.
One of the requirements for living under an open heaven is FAITH.
Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:8–10 NKJV
By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Living under an open heaven is a transformational reality for you as a believer.
Living under an open heaven enables you to experience God's blessings, protection, and guidance in a more meaningful way.
Abraham lived under an open heaven because he put his trust in God and stepped out in the unknown.
Genesis 12:1–3 NKJV
Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Living under an open heaven does not mean you would not face trials
Genesis 12:10–13 NKJV
Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to dwell there, for the famine was severe in the land. And it came to pass, when he was close to entering Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, “Indeed I know that you are a woman of beautiful countenance. Therefore it will happen, when the Egyptians see you, that they will say, ‘This is his wife’; and they will kill me, but they will let you live. Please say you are my sister, that it may be well with me for your sake, and that I may live because of you.”
Living under an open heaven will give you access to divine strategy to get you through trials. Abram and his wife faced a trial, a famine and having to pass through Egypt and coming out alive. They got through it because Abram had FAITH he believed the word of the Lord.
John 16:33 NKJV
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Living under an open heaven will take you to your true inheritance.
Genesis 13:1–4 NKJV
Then Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, to the South. Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. And he went on his journey from the South as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai, to the place of the altar which he had made there at first. And there Abram called on the name of the Lord.
Genesis 13:14–17 NKJV
And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.”

Summary

The reality of living under an open heaven is you living in a state of blessing and divine connection, where God’s presence, provision, and power are actively at work in your life every single day.
Jesus Christ is the Key to living under an open heaven.
His life, ministry, and resurrection mark the ultimate “open heaven” event-God reaching down to humanity to bring salvation.
John 1:51 NKJV
And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”
This declaration connects Christ with Jacob’s ladder, signifying that He is the ultimate bridge between God and humanity.
You cannot live under an open heaven without accepting Jesus Christ into your life.
You cannot live under an open heaven without have Jesus at the center of everything.
Jesus is the perfect example of what living under an open heaven looks like.
Jesus faced temptation and He showed us how to overcome them with the WORD OF GOD.
Luke 4:1–4 NKJV
Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry. And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’ ”
Living under an open heaven gives you access to miracles.
Matthew 8:1–3 NKJV
When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Living under an open heaven deliverance is efforless.
Matthew 8:28–32 NKJV
When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding. So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.” And He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water.
God meant it for us to live under an open heaven, you don’t have to settle for a medicore life when God has a life of abundance for you.
