Opening Song (All Hail the Power of Jesus Name)

We just sang a song of thanksgiving Praising God for the cross. The glorious story of redemption that we now are a part of because of Christ’s death and ressurection.
Our next song all hail the power of Jesus name, continues with this theme of Praising Jesus Christ Because of who he is and what he has done for us. One line in the song is bring forth the royal diadem and crown him Lord of all. A Diadem is a crown worn as a symbol of soverignty. Please stand with us as we sing to our soverign God.

Be thou my vision - Lord I Need You

Our next two songs are Be thou my vision into Lord I need you. They both express our dependence on God. As I looked into the lyrics of be though my vision I was stuck on the line not be all else to me save that thou art. I didn’t know what it was talking about. I looked into it and found it to mean, “Let nothing on earth be to me except that You are. Nothing in our lives should be more valuable the God’s Lordship, His soverign will for our lives. Please stand with as and sing.

All Glory Laud and Honor

Our Closing song is all glory laud and honor. It is a fitting song to begin thinking about the triumphal entry next week being Palm Sunday. Matthew 21:8-9
Matthew 21:8–9 NASB95
8 Most of the crowd spread their coats in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them in the road. 9 The crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!”
Please stand and sing with us.
Matthew 28:19–20 NASB95
19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
And you have been sent out.
