Knowing what is the limit of one’s trust in man.

Text: John 2:24–25 “But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.”
How can christian maintain the balance between true brotherly love and full confidence in each other?
Looking up a word study on the word entrust.
to entrust something to the care of someone—‘to entrust to, to put into the care of.’ ὅτι ἐπιστεύθησαν τὰ λόγια τοῦ θεοῦ ‘because they were entrusted with God’s message’ or ‘… with God’s promises’ Ro 3:2. In some languages it may be possible to render this expression in Ro 3:2 as ‘because God gave his message to them to take care of’ or ‘… to keep,’ but one should avoid the implication that the message was simply to be kept by the Jews for themselves Johannes P.
