The Call to Service

Just because you don’t answer the phone; doesn’t mean you didn’t get the call.

The call is to someone who is already working

a. Elisha was already working (not loafing, not spectating)

b. working in somebody else’s business

2. The call is to someone who can handle power

a. Elisha was plowing with 12 yoke of oxen

b. power, strength, wealth

3. The call sometimes comes through another leader

a. Elisha was anointed when the cloak rested on him

b. You’re not ready to go anywhere; until you get ready to go somewhere

4. The call may require you to “burn the boats”

a. commitment to course

b. leave everything behind

c. no plan B
