MATTHEW 24:14 NASB95

"This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come." "Fòk yo gen tan mache bay bon nouvèl Peyi kote Bondye Wa a toupatou sou latè, pou tout moun ka tande mesaj la. Se lè sa a atò lafen an va rive."

WHAT'S THE POINT?

Our only hope in this broken world is for the Kingdom of God to be fully established on earth as it is in Heaven. But that will only happen when the message of the Kingdom is preached to the whole world. And the message of the Kingdom will only preached to the whole world when the King of the Kingdom is truly revealed, exalted, and proclaimed through our lives.

A Clear View of Our Condition

Before we understand the solution, we need to clearly recognize the crisis we are in.

ON A GLOBAL SCALE

Matthew 24:6-7,10-12 NIV
"You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. [7] Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. [10] At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, [11] and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. [12] Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold." "6 Nou pral tande lagè ap fèt toupre nou, ansanm ak nouvèl lagè k'ap fèt byen lwen. Koute sa m'ap di nou byen: nou pa bezwen pè. Paske, fòk bagay sa yo rive. Men, se p'ap ankò lafen an sa. 7 Yon pèp pral leve goumen ak yon lòt pèp. Yon peyi va atake yon lòt peyi. Va gen anpil grangou, va gen tranblemanntè divès kote. 10 Lè sa a, anpil moun pral jwenn okazyon pou yo tonbe nan peche, yonn pral denonse lòt, yonn pral rayi lòt. 11 Gen anpil moun k'ap parèt, y'ap pran pòz pwofèt yo, y'a twonpe anpil moun. 12 Ap sitèlman gen mechanste sou latè, pifò moun yonn p'ap renmen lòt."

AT A PERSONAL LEVEL

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NIV
"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. [2] People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, [3] without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, [4] treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— [5] having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people." "Mete sa byen nan tèt ou: nan dènye jou yo, tan an pral difisil anpil. 2 Moun pral fè rayisab, y'ap renmen lajan, y'ap fè grandizè, lògèy ap vire tèt yo, y'ap pale Bondye mal, y'ap dezobeyi papa ak manman yo, y'ap engra, y'ap san okenn respè pou bagay Bondye. 3 Kè yo ap di, y'ap san pitye, y'ap pale moun mal, y'ap fè gwo kòlè, y'ap brital. Yo p'ap vle wè sa ki byen menm. 4 Y'a mòde an trèt, y'a fè kòlè fasil, lògèy va gonfle lestonmak yo. Y'ap pito plezi pase sèvis Bondye. 5 Y'ap fè tankou y'ap sèvi Bondye. Men, yo pa kwè nan pouvwa Bondye a tout bon vre. Pa mele ak moun konsa menm."
Lovers of self and money
Boastful, proud, abusive
Disobedient, ungrateful, unholy
Lacking love, self-control, and forgiveness
Conceited, rash, treacherous
Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God
A form of godliness but denying its power
This is the desperate, dark, and broken condition of our world—both globally and personally.
We are all affected by it.
And it is only getting worse.
Yet amid this crisis, Jesus offers us a promise of hope:
This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come."
The end of what?
The end of what?
The end of corruption, confusion, and suffering.
The end of brokenness, rebellion, and pain.
But that “end” is tied to a condition:
“This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world…”

HERE IS THE POINT:

Our only hope in this broken world is for the Kingdom of God to be fully established on earth as it is in Heaven.
But that will only happen when the message of the Kingdom is preached to the whole world.
And the message of the Kingdom will only preached to the whole world when the King of the Kingdom is truly revealed, exalted, and proclaimed through our lives.
Let’s explore the solution to the condition of our world by looking at these three truths:
Our Only Hope: The Kingdom Fully Established
The Only Condition: The Kingdom Message Globally Preached
The Only Way: The King of the Kingdom Truly Revealed, Exalted, and Proclaimed

I. Our Only Hope: The Kingdom Fully Established

Revelation 21:1-5 NIV
"Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. [2] I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. [3] And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. [4] ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” [5] He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” "Apre sa, mwen wè yon lòt sièl ak yon lòt latè. Premie sièl la ak premie latè a te disparèt. pa t' gen okenn lanmè ankò. 2 Apre sa, mwen wè lavil Bondye a, lòt Jerizalèm nèf lan, ki t'ap desann soti bò kot Bondye ye nan sièl la. Li te byen abiye, li te pare tankou yon lamarye ki pral kontre fiyanse li. 3 Mwen tande yon vwa ki t'ap soti bò fòtèy la, li t'ap di byen fò: Koulye a, kay Bondye a se nan mitan moun l'ap ye.
Revelation 22:3-5 NIV
"No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. [4] They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. [5] There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever." "3 p'ap gen anyen nan lavil la k'ap tonbe anba madichon Bondye. Fòtèy Bondye ak ti Mouton an va nan mitan lavil la. Tout sèvitè yo va adore li. 4 Y'a parèt devan l'. Y'a gen non l' make sou fwon yo. 5 p'ap janm fè nwit ankò. Moun yo p'ap bezwen ni limiè lanp ni limiè solèy, paske Mèt la, Bondye, va klere yo, li va yon limiè pou yo. Lè sa a y'a gouvènen pou tout tan."
Zechariah 14:3-4 NIV
"Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. [4] On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south." "3 Lèfini, Seyè a pral parèt pou li al goumen ak nasyon yo, jan li te konn goumen nan tan lontan an. 4 Lè sa a, l'a desann kanpe sou mòn pye oliv yo, ki anfas lavil Jerizalèm, sou bò solèy leve. Mòn lan va fann de bò nèt ale, l'a fè yon fon nan mitan ki soti bò solèy leve desann bò solèy kouche: mwatye nan mòn lan va fè bò nò, lòt mwatye a va fè bò sid."

What Does This Hope Look Like?

A new heaven and a new earth—a world completely restored and renewed
The Holy City coming down—God bringing heaven to earth to dwell with us
God wiping away every tear—no more pain, loss, or sorrow
No more death, no more mourning or crying—because the old order has passed away
No more curse—complete redemption from sin and brokenness
We will see His face—full communion with the King forever
There will be no more night—only the light of God’s presence
We will reign with Him forever and ever—sharing in His eternal glory
The King will return to rule—and every enemy will be defeated as He stands in power

But Here Is the Condition...

As glorious as this promise is, it will not be fulfilled until one thing happens.

II. The Only Condition: The Kingdom Message Globally Preached

Matthew 24:14 NASBS
“This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” "14 Fòk yo gen tan mache bay bon nouvèl Peyi kote Bondye Wa a toupatou sou latè, pou tout moun ka tande mesaj la. Se lè sa a atò lafen an va rive."
The return of the King and the full establishment of His Kingdom hinges on the global proclamation of the gospel of the Kingdom.
But how will that happen?
Romans 10:14-15 NIV
"[14] How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? [15] And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” "14 Ki jan y'a fè rele l', si yo poko gen konfyans nan li? Ki jan pou yo gen konfyans nan li, si yo pa tande pale sou li? Ki jan pou yo tande pale sou li, 15 si pa gen pesonn pou fè konnen mesaj la? Ki jan pou yo fè fè konnen mesaj la, si pa gen moun yo voye pou sa? Dapre sa ki te ekri a: Ala bèl bagay lè ou wè moun k'ap pote yon bon nouvèl ap vini!"

What does this mean for us?

They cannot believe unless they have heard.
They cannot hear unless someone proclaims the message.
And no one can proclaim it unless they are sent.
The message must go forth—this is the only condition for the end to come and for the Kingdom to be fully established.
But how does that message get preached? What is the key to its global spread?

What is the only way the Kingdom message will be preached to all nations?

The answer is this:
The message of the Kingdom will only be preached when the King of the Kingdom is truly revealed, exalted, and proclaimed—through us.
This leads us to the final and most crucial point:

III. The Only Way: The King Revealed, Exalted, and Proclaimed

If the condition for the fulfillment of our hope is the global preaching of the Kingdom message, then the only way that message will truly be preached is when the King of the Kingdom is truly revealed, exalted, and proclaimed—through our lives.

A. The King Revealed: Who is He?

Colossians 1:15-18 NASBS
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. [16] For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created through Him and for Him. [17] He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. [18] He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything."
Image of the invisible God
Firstborn of all creation
Creator of all things
In heaven and on earth
Visible and invisible
Thrones, dominions, rulers, and authorities
All things were created through Him
All things were created for Him
He is before all things
In Him all things hold together
Head of the body, the Church
The beginning
Firstborn from the dead
When we truly see Jesus as He is, everything changes. This revelation will lead to action.

B. The King Exalted: What is His Rightful Place?

What is His Rightful Place?

Colossians 1:18 NASBS
"He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything." "Se li ki tèt legliz la, legliz la se kò li. Se li menm ki bay kò a lavi. Se li menm an premye ki te leve soti vivan nan lanmò pou l' te ka gen premye plas nan tout bagay."
Once the King is revealed, the only rightful response is to exalt Him
To exalt Him is to enthrone Him as King over every part of our lives— not just in words, but in priority, obedience, and surrender

C. The King Proclaimed: How is He Proclaimed?

Colossians 1:28 ESV
"Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ." "28 Konsa, m'ap fè tout moun konnen Kris la. M'ap bay tout moun konsèy, m'ap moutre yo tout bagay avè bon konprann, jan m' kapab pou yo tout ka parèt devan Bondye tankou granmoun ki byen grandi nan lavi y'ap mennen ansanm ak Kris la."
1 Corinthians 1:23 NIV
"We preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles." "23 Men nou menm, n'ap fè konnen Kris yo te kloure sou kwa a. Pou jwif yo, sa se yon wòch k'ap fè yo bite. Pou moun ki pa jwif yo, sa se bagay moun fou."
2 Corinthians 4:5 NASBS
"For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake." "5 Konprann sa byen, se pa tèt pa m' m'ap fè nou konnen: men se Jezikri, Seyè a, m'ap fè nou konnen. Mwen menm mwen di nou se sèvi m'ap sèvi nou poutèt Jezi."
We don’t preach religion.
We don’t preach morality.
We preach Christ.
Why?
Because the King is the message.
The King embodies the Kingdom.
To preach the King is to preach His Kingdom.
The presence of the King is the presence of the Kingdom.
To announce the King is to announce the Kingdom.
He is the Kingdom—in Him all things hold together.
But here is the key:
The King is not only proclaimed with our mouths—
He is proclaimed through our lives.
The King is truly proclaimed when we put Him first in everything.
We proclaim the King when:
We live under His rule and surrender every area of life to His Lordship.
We obey His Word, reflect His character, and let His priorities shape our decisions.
We love like He loves, serve like He serves, and forgive like He forgives.
We glorify Him in our work, our relationships, our time, and our conduct.
When Jesus is truly first in everything, our lives become living sermons.
Through us, the world sees the King.
And when the King is revealed, exalted, and proclaimed—the Kingdom is proclaimed.

Conclusion: The Implication

Let’s trace the logic backward:
Unless the King is revealed, He cannot be exalted.
Unless He is exalted, He will not be proclaimed.
Unless the King is proclaimed, the message of the Kingdom will not be preached.
Unless the message of the Kingdom is preached, our only hope will not be fulfilled.
So, what is the invitation?
👉 Put Christ first in everything so the message of the kingdom can be proclaimed through our lives which is our hope in this broken world.
When Jesus is first in everything:
Our thoughts will reflect His truth.
Our speech will echo His love.
Our actions will mirror His righteousness.
Our lives will preach the gospel of the Kingdom without needing a stage or a microphone.
Our hope doesn’t lie in systems, governments, or human solutions—
Our only hope is the Kingdom of God fully established through the King being revealed, exalted, and proclaimed in and through us.

Imagine...

Imagine what it would look like for Christ to have first place in every area of your life.
Imagine what would change—your mind, your habits, your relationships, your purpose.
Now imagine if every believer lived this way.
What would happen in the Church? In our cities? In our world?
The message of the Kingdom would be unstoppable.

We Are the Church—The Hope of the World

We, the Church, are the hope of the world—but only when we put Christ first, so the world can see Him through us.
When the King is revealed, exalted, and proclaimed through our lives, the message of the Kingdom will be preached, the nations will hear, and then the end will come. And our hope will be fulfilled.
“This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” — Matthew 24:14 NASB
