They will be granted the right to eat of the Tree of Life

They will not be hurt by the second death.

The Pillar and Inscription of Names - Revelation 3:12-13.

Revelation 3:12–13 ESV

12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. 13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

No temple because it was not necessary

God is the temple

His dwelling is made with us

The one who conquers is granted Father/Son relationship with Him. INCREDIBLE!!

What is Jesus’ new name? No scripture tell us (Rev 19:12) but we know the Bible uses names to show character and authority. Will Jesus’ new name show His authority and character? Or maybe it will give us a fuller picture of His character? (Probably both in truth) Whatever it means, what a privilege it will be to have it (Rev 14:1). The title Christian means “little Christs.” and his goal for us is to become conformed to His image!

The consequences of not being a conqueror is rejection.

The Granting of Fellowship and Relationship - Revelation 3:21-22.

Revelation 3:21–22 ESV

21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’ ”

Mt 19:28

Talking to his disciples…

They will sit on 12 thrones and judge 12 tribes

All who followed will be given a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.

Mt 25:31

When the Son of Man comes, he will sit on his throne. He is the rightful ruler. He has a throne and the right to sit upon it.

1 Cor 6:2-3

The saints will judge the world

We will judge angels

We will have positions of authority and will rule with God.

Rev 5:10

Those who the lamb ransomed have been made priests and will reign with Him.

Rev 20:6

Those who share in the 1st resurrection

2nd death has no power

Will be priests

will reign for 1000 years with Him

Rev 2:26-27

They will be given authority to rule

The conquerors are those who repent, believe, and follow Jesus. They conquer through their confession and living by faith for Jesus in repentance and humility.
