1. THE RESULTS OF OUR VIEW OF GOD  v1-5* RD shared some common views of God today. What were they and what effect do they have on people?  (Deism - the divine clockmaker, Theism - a God high up, distant  and disconnected ) ( other examples?  "The Man upstairs")*
2. Share examples from Scripture or from your own everyday life where you have experienced  the consequences  of a correct or incorrect view of God.
3. How did David's view of God help him through rough times of unfaithfulness?
4. How has your view of God in Christ changed over time? 
5. What experiences in your life or family's life have been guided by your knowledge of who God is in Christ?.     
6.* What are the active verbs of God's gracious work in v 3,4 & 5? 
7. How do we see these divine actions d isplayed to us  in the Saving  Words and Act of Christ in his  life and later death on the Cross? 2. GOD'S MERCY AS THE FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST v6 -12  * 
8. In what ways do we see the mercy of the Father in Christ in v 10-12 
9. Think of events in Jesus' life where he expressed God's mercy and compassion.  How can we address our struggle with guilt or self-condemnation using  these promises?

 11. What do the responses of the two brothers in the story of the Prodigal son teach us about having a correct or incorrect view of God? Luke 15:20-30 
11(a)  How did we experience the Father's compassion and forgiveness through the worship service on Sunday ( baptisms, preaching, communion and after service fellowship)

Read Psalm 103v 1-4 and v 10 - 13 again and through prayers of praise and thanksgiving " Bless ( praise )  the Lord oh my soul together Share your prayer needs together and pray for friends and family who have a unbiblical or secular view of God Pray for the elections - for candidates who believe  and for God's will and Kingdom to come and for discernment and clarity in truth for the electorate
