Teaching: The sermon teaches that in times of chaos and despair, believers can find assurance in God's promises. Zechariah 14 illustrates how God will defeat evil and restore His people, affirming the certainty of divine justice and mercy.

Recommended Study: As you prepare, consider exploring the historical context of Zechariah's prophecy using Logos, particularly the theological implications of the Day of the Lord found in the Old Testament. A. The restoration of Jesus as the King.
There will be reduced light on the earth. There is a change in the heavenly bodies in some fashion.
The light will be like a twilight-a unique day in human history.
This points to Jesus as being the Light of the world taken from John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
