1 Corinthians 10:23 ESV
23 “All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up.
The question we are addressing today is an important one. The question is How do we approach dugs as Christians and which are good and which are bad.
Intro
when we are talking about drugs it is important that we clarify things. there are a lot of drugs in the world that we take regularly.
many of us use “drugs” daily
The Problem we have is not with therapeutic treatments r
rather we are specifically talking about recreational substance use.

1 Peter 2:12–14 ESV
12 Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation. 13 Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, 14 or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good.
In BC there is a law that prohibits the use of Alcohol and Cannabis under the age of 19, therefore in accordance with scripture we cannot drink underage.
additionally when you are an adult there are very few substances that are legal. Nicotine, Cannabis, and alcohol.
partaking in illegal drugs is not only illegal but immoral.
Sobriety
Scripture calls us many times to be sober-minded and self controlled.
One of the big problems with drugs and alcohol is that we are not longer in control
Drunkenness is sinful and we are not in control of our emotion, actions, behaviour and so much more when drunk or especially high.
Wittness
one of the biggest question we need to ask is why?

Drugs while they maybe legal are not profitable.
