Revelation 1:18 “I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.”
John 14:19 “Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
Because of Christ’s death and resurrection we can become new creatures in Him, forgiven and cleansed.
Our sins are forgiven when we repent and believe. When we give ourselves in total commitment to God, we are cleansed and filled with God’s love. 1 John 1:9 “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”
So We Can Live Like Him
So We Can Live Like Him
1 Peter 2:21 “For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.”
Christ often prayed to His Father in heaven. He quoted scripture to defeat Satan in times of temptation.
Christ was kind, compassionate, understanding, and helpful to others.
If we are to be like Christ, we must pray, read God’s Word, be considerate of and helpful to others.
1 John 2:6 “Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.”

2 Corinthians 5:15 “He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.”
Many are unwilling to endure afflictions and persecutions for Christ. They follow selfish pursuits only.
We must work and witness for Christ, giving our time, talents and treasures.
Christ endured the worst, even death on a cross, for us. What are we willing to endure for Him?
2 Corinthians 5:20 “So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!””

1 Thessalonians 4:17 “Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.”
When Christ left this earth, He sent His Holy Spirit to abide with us forever.
John 14:16 “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.”
The totally committed Christian is never alone.
When we leave this world we shall be forever with the Lord who has gone to prepare a place for us.
John 14:2–3 “There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.”
